The rocks that surround the point are known to be volcanic, due to their unique formations, carved over many thousands of years by the surging tide. The beach is popular with surfers in the region. / This unique headland is surrounded by the Mooloolaba River to the north and the sea to the south and east. The grassy and rocky slopes feature relaxed walking paths and spectacular ocean views

About: Point Cartwright’s volcanic rocks are beautiful and unique to the area. The sun rises to the left and the sky works its magic to the right. The water is unbeknownst to the beauty around it, continually dancing for me.
