by Lucan Industries (© misterkhan 1995)Inspired by ‘Television, the Drug of the Nation’ by The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy In fact I’ll make it an open invitation for anyone to create an image based on a line from that song, tag it ‘cathoderaynipple’ it’s a fucking plethora of good hearty stuff. I actually wanted this to be a silhouette of dear Paris, but being as bland as she is, I couldn’t source an iconic image that would have served as a suitable starting point.

by DouzyThis is a photo of a real crocodile who luckily enough kept his mouth wide open for a while to enable me to take that shot. I darkened it for adramatic effect then dodged along the teeth to let some of the texture of his skin show through.

My art is based on everything I see around me. This is from the idea that eyes are the windows of the soul. A2 on cartridge papar with a G-Tec C4 0.4 pen. Can be viewed any way up it is up to you.

Then, said the cat, it doesn’t matter.” / -Lewis Carroll, “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” Second artwork in my new series based off of Lewis Carroll’s “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”. This is the my take on the Cheshire Cat, who though a smiling and logical entity, is also a bit unnerving. I chose to portray the cat as something a bit unsettling and ambiguous. “’But I don’t want to go among mad people,’ Alice remarked. / ‘Oh, you can’t help that,’ said the Cat. ‘We’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.’ / ‘How do you know I’m mad?’ said Alice. / ‘You must be,” said the Cat. ‘or you wouldn’t have come here.’” The original artwork measures 12.5×19”, and was created with mostly colored pencils and art pens and markers on burgundy Canson paper. Sweetie, with one of his oldest (and most favored) toys. He’s not missing a top fang; it’s just tucked inside his upper lip…in the second following this shot all four fangs were fully-engaged but he swung his head too fast for me to focus properly.
