This is my Very Last Work for 2007 finished it on 31st Dec 2007 First attempt at making a Mountain Background on a Moon Orbiting a Planet… Is the woman is supposed to seem like a Mountain as in a Mirage or a Daydream…. This is 3 of 3 Versions that I made a few with Romantic Writing…
This shot was taken on the shores of Lake Geneva, Switzerland in the town of Montreux. The combination of the setting sun, the lack of wind and the slight overcast conditions created the metallic look of the water – which looked like it had the consistency of mercury. Interestingly, this location is where Deep Purple wrote the song Fire in the Sky.
2nd Image… One of my Best Friends is Pregnant and so I was Shocked about that sort of news… Just isn’t something you expect a Friend to say to you out of the blue… I have always respected Women and the Gift they possess for Creation of Life… So its been on my Mind for the last few days and due to lack of inspiration the past week or so for new art work I decided to Alter a few of my older Works that would work well with Creation of Life and a Womans Form, Body…. and to try and celebrate that in my own way… I know the idea behind the images are not new and a Popular example of something like My images is that of “2001: A Space Odyssey” but that Image has always been in my mind ever since I first saw the Movie god knows how long ago… so is about time and I think is the right time since my Friends news that I make a few of my own… Will try and think about a new image from scratch with this idea in mind… This is the 2nd Image I have made on this idea…

And then the arrival on the Jungfraujoch, in the heart of a glorious glacier world on the very roof of Europe! Superb views extend as far as the summits of the Vosges Mountains in France and the Black Forest in Germany. The Great Aletsch Glacier, at 22 km the longest ice-stream in the Alps, begins on the Jungfraujoch-Top of Europe.
This is Vimy Ridg In Wateron Glacier National Park Located on the Canadian Side in Southern Alberta. / This National Park is a World Heritage Site and is also dedicated as Waterton International Peace Park / I have been told that this shot is rarely captured, due to the frequency of the winds around this area. My Aunt and My Grandmother have tried for years and never had the opportunity to capture this Mountain and its mirrored image before and they live here. / I have searched hundreds of Pictures and have seen only one single Mirrored Image of this Mountain on the Internet there has to be more I’m sure. I have been back several times to take more shots but the water was too choppy, as the winds are almost always blowing, I was Extremely fortunate to have captured this shot. / For more Historical Information on “Vimy Ridge” I found a site link below for you to check out. / Nikon D80 Nikor AFS ED 18-135mm Lens With Circular Polarizing Filter / 415 Views / /

This image was taken last fall while driving by Banff (Alberta, canada part of the Yoho national park if I remember correctly )and even thou I might of seen this image many times, I simply can’t resist going back every time I can. Just a short walk off the parking lot and you can see why people pay huge $$ to stay in the Chateau for this view. Unfortunetely, it was early in the morning which explains the shadow (sorry). better viewed large Canon Xt, Sigma 17-35mm ,

Ice is where we all will be / If not excepting of handshakes / Words of love and peace. Virus’s we need not fear / It’s human emotion, that look, that leer / The hardened heart that is closed / Non Excepting of a warm kind word. Global warming, ha,, you jest / There inside of each of us / A heart lies in our breast / Open up your arms, you might just bust. Warmth it will give you / Melt away the ice / Makes the world around you / Warmer,, ahhh,, isn’t that nice. So heat up your teapot / Drink a cup with me / Ice Age will never happen / In my life, wait and see. My mother and grandparents have told me that mountain lions were often found in mountain regions and hilly wooded areas in our home state of Arkansas years ago. They are thought to be all gone in these areas due to habitat destruction for forestation and the building of cities nearby. However, ocassionally there are sightings. They have adapted, and keep away from humans. My brother-in-law has a digital camera mounted in the woods where he hunts for deer. It takes pictures randomly so he can learn about the habits of the der he hunts. Early one morning just a few weeks ago, he captured a moutain lion on camera. The cougar (Puma concolor), also known as puma, mountain lion, mountain cat, catamount, or panther, depending on the region, is a mammal of the Felidae family, native to the Americas. This large, solitary cat has the greatest range of any large wild terrestrial mammal in the Western Hemisphere, extending from Yukon in Canada to the southern Andes of South America. An adaptable, generalist species, the cougar is found in every major American habitat type. It is the second heaviest cat in the American continents after the jaguar, and the fourth heaviest in the world, along with the leopard, after the tiger, lion, and jaguar, although it is most closely related to smaller felines. A capable stalk-and-ambush predator, the cougar pursues a wide variety of prey. Primary food sources include ungulates such as deer, elk, and bighorn sheep, as well as domestic cattle, horses, and sheep, particularly in the northern part of its range, but it also hunts species as small as insects and rodents. Moreover, it prefers habitats with dense underbrush and rocky areas for stalking, but it can live in open areas. The cougar is territorial and persists at low population densities. Individual territory sizes depend on terrain, vegetation, and abundance of prey. While it is a large predator, it is not always the dominant species in its range, as when it competes for prey with other predators such as the jaguar, gray wolf, American Black Bear, and the grizzly bear. It is a reclusive cat and usually avoids people. Attacks on humans remain rare, despite a recent increase in frequency. Due to excessive hunting following the European colonization of the Americas, and continuing human development of cougar habitat, populations have dropped in most parts of its historical range. In particular, the cougar was extirpated in eastern North America, except an isolated sub-population in Florida; the animal may be recolonizing parts of its former eastern territory, such as Maine and northern Michigan where there have been recent sightings. With its vast range, the cougar has dozens of names and various references in the mythology of the indigenous Americans and in contemporary culture. The Cougar has recently made a comeback in the state of Wyoming, where it presently has the largest population in North America
