At Day’s End As the sun goes down over the front range mountains of Denver, Colorado, the Sunflowers turn, in anticipation of the sun coming back up in the morning. Photographed in a field where all you can see for miles and miles is Sunflowers….billions of Sunflowers. An entire sea of yellow and gold….caught in my lens for a fleeting instant, where the whole world was at peace…. This is the start of the path to one of the highest peaks in Virginia. It is an High Dynamic Range photograph made from three exposures. Only an emphasis of the light was done in Photoshop.

This picture was taken on a golf place,it’s on a top of a mountain,very impressive to walk over there.That’s the reason for the sharp line.I put a crescent of a moon and add a little bit of blue…et voilà. We can feel alone but being part of nature is the key for happiness , an invidual renewed by all the beautiful thinks arround us . / / /

When the thunder comes and you are standing at 12,000 feet, this is probably the last place you want to be. So when the thunder comes and you are the highest object in the Colorado Rockies….run!!! Lightning strikes kill people in the high country every year and needles to say I pretty much high tailed it after shooting this, back to the car as quick as I could. Loveland Pass is a Colorado landmark, and looking here you look out over the Continental Divide. It is the highest mountain Pass in the United States to be plowed and stayed open year around, as trucks carrying hazardous chemicals must cross this way instead of using the Eisenhower Tunnel. I went ahead and decided to process this in HDR using Photomatix and final output through PS CS2, the reason for the HDR was to catch the dynamic light (which seems like I am always chasing) and the drama in the clouds with the approaching thunderstorm. LucisArt used for final detail work. Captured along the Mount Evans Wilderness in Colorado, this is one of those waterfalls that kind of sneaks up on ya outta the blue, and if you blink, you actually miss it. I really don’t much in the way of long exposure shots, but after being happy with how this one came out, I am going to start doing them more. Hope ya all like it! The cabin of Carter Shields Place makes a beautiful autumn setting as it may of been around 1830 or 40’s.It’s location is on the Cades Cove Loop Road in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. It’s preserved by the Park Service and an example of early Appalachian structures.

On the 12th day of May 2008 I witnessed (along with thousands of others) a perfect circle in the form of a rainbow around the sun at about noon-time at a beautiful place in the Philippines. Completely perplexed, stunned and amazed at this extraordinary and divine sight, I HAD to create this artwork. Im not sure where you were or what you were doing at this same moment of time but I guess this is all we have. Small pigments of time all squeezed together. And if we’re blessed enough, we get moments like these and realise even for a second the gravity of God’s love. There were no photo’s taken at the time and all I had available to me was the memory of this moment… The moment my heart burned. Print available. / Vector digital art created in illustrator.
