  • Once upon a time I travelled around Europe with my backpack. I spent a few months in the UK before venturing through the other countries. / Most of the time I slept on trains, in train stations, youth hostels and for about 2 weeks, in a tent during a World Moot at Kandersteg, Switzerland (a scouting event for Rovers from all around the world). / These are what I consider the best from around Europe. If you fancy different photos from my collection, just ask ;D

  • Across Nepal & India is about travel through a beautiful array of places. Some popular and some off the beaten track. The colors and scenes will stop you in your tracks and you can’t help but smile in appreciation of such beauty and pride.

  • From the buzzing, humid city of Kathmandu to the pristine scenery of the Himalayan Mountains, these are photographs of my trek up to the source of the Dudh Koshi River and deep into the Sagarmatha National Park to climb to where the air has less than 50% oxygen with amazing views of the Khumbu glacial valley and the Himalayas in beautiful, clear Autumn weather.

  • This calendar consists of photos taken along the Milford Track in New Zealand’s Fiordland National Park. The 53km long track is regarded as the finest walk in the world and the hiker traverses mountain streams to alpine passes and the terrain changes from rainforests to mountain ranges to deep valleys to open fields. You can view all the photos in this calendar by clicking on “next” or “prev” to the left.

  • I lived in Colorado only 2 years. Most of that time was spent sightseeing, hiking, and backpacking through the glorious terrain of Rocky Mountain National Park. From parking the car for a glimpse of wonder to trekking up to 12,000 feet, these photos are some of my favorites and remind me how grateful I am to have been in the presence of such natural splendor. I hope you like them too!

  • Collection of landscapes taken around the Lake District in Cumbria which have been converted into albumen to give that vintage feel. Where possible, they contain little of the modern world to show how little parts of Cumbria have changed on the surface.

  • Nature’s Wonders, landscapes captured from above. Forests and rivers, mountains and valleys, islands and seascapes taken from commercially operated aeroplanes over Europe, Asia and America. Credit goes to my fellow artists without whom this calendar would not be possible: Mother Nature, numerous Town & Country planners and countless farmers who created eye-catching and often very abstract scenery, when viewed from above! My thanks also goes to all the pilots and crews of the airlines I’ve travelled with, bringing me safely to my destinations. Part of my series World from Above. Also Available – The World from Above – Landscapes, a series of landscapes from above both natural and man-made.
