Twelve months in my beautiful hometown. Every season is completely different – different smells, different light, different colors. It goes from being really cold with crispy clear air and soft blue colors in the winter to brightly colored, warm, sunlit sceneries in the summer and autumn. Everything in between is equally beautiful – snow slowly melting, nature awakening, flowers everywhere, mountains glowing at sunset, peace and quiet in the fall, ....and then, again, the first snow flakes, everything calming down. It was about time I made some of my “home pictures” available as a calender. Here it is, hope you like it!

This is where I did my internship during the summer of 2007. Hayama is part of the Miura Peninsula; other cities in this Peninsula include Yokosuka, Zushi and Kamakura. Th coast of Miura offers beautiful beaches with stunning views of Mt. Fuji and many more splendours. / / I was going through my Japan pics recently and uploaded a few for this calendar; though some are already published in my portfolio including the following: Cover: Shiroyama / June: Sunshine on Takeishi Beach / August: Mt. A selection of photos taken in an area of Upper Bavaria called Werdenfelser Land, near the German Alps. Well loved by day trippers from Munich, whether for swimming, cycling and walking in summer or skating and skiing in winter. There many ponds and lakes left behind by the ice-age or later.
