  • Taken on Mt.Higginbotham at Mt.Hotham the cloud had just thinned enough toward the sun enough to allow a soft but distinct shadow to be cast by the snowgum onto the fresh snow. ~ / Browse Images by Category : Snow Landscape Nature

  • This is technically a Scarlet Robin, though it is often referred to as (the Australian) Robin Redbreast. This image was take on the Great Alpine Rd near Mt.Hotham at the start of the Razorback. It shows a beautiful Red Robin atop a red snow pole. / ~ / Browse Images by Category : Snow Landscape Nature

  • These birds are magnificent on their own, but if your lucky enough to get a breath taking back ground, all the better!

  • This composite was made specialy for a the “chaos” challenge last year.I just let myself go and tried something different from what I use to do.I had a old picture from my trip in France when I went skiing in the Alps. The black stain at the left is,in fact,a restaurant at the “Trois Vallées” resort and you also can see the skier’s traces on the snow…. :)) I did a double layer with a shot of the moon taken with my Panasonic FZ-20…some coloring “et voilà”.....just for fun….

  • Early morning at Lake Wanaka, NZ. Other Landscapes ... More mountains ...

  • This image was taken on Rannoch Moor, Scotland on a very cold December morning (2007).

  • Shortly after the dream, the mountains breathed out a morning glow across the still surface of a murky glacial lake.

  • This design inspired by Japanese kimono designs and wood block prints. I originally designed it for dark colors, but it actually looks kind of cool on some of the lighter ones – aqua, lt blues and pinks. Related Items From Our Other Shops: / (Click on Image to View and Buy)

  • Mindscape is a mental or psychological scene or area of the imagination. The word is most suitable to the filed of psychology. Mindscape has two words combined in such a way that the meaning goes beyond it – Mind and Escape… It can be translated as a Mind that wants to escape or a Mind that is in route of escaping. This adventure can be in the sense of reality or in spiritual world. / Depression sufferers escape from facts, hallucinates escape from reality, psychotics and neurotics escape from many other forms of life. We usually state that they are people who require help so that they can live an ordinary life. But who is to decide what is normal and what is abnormal? If ones can see the other side of horizon, according to them they deem the facts strongly that they hold about life, oneself and reality. They believe they are the right ones who are amongst wrong people. Are you one of them? I tend to assume we all are, one way or another. • Howe Sound Vancouver B.C. Canada The West Coast first people of British Columbia, Canada, have a name for killer whales or orcas…they call them Sea Wolves. If you have ever watched killer whales hunt, they do so like wolves.

  • Like all of the work I put on Redbubble. This piece took a long time to finish. I always take my time with important illustrations, especially if I want people to purchase them. The mountains alone took well over 4 hours to complete. I changed them many many times. They could’ve been an illustration by themselves cuz there’s so much detail in them. The idea behind this piece is loosely based on the fact that I never want to give up on my passions in life. Don’t let the fear of failure stop you from pursuing your life’s goals. You don’t want to look back and have regrets. They will haunt you forever….those things you told yourself you always wanted to do will become your ghosts. You cannot run away from your passion/s in life. Further more this illustration is a reminder to me. A personal mission statement built into an illustration. It is me in the illustration…something I never want to become. Drawn on A3 Copy Paper, Colored in Photoshop CS3 with Wacom Detail: /

When we arrived at the mountain on Friday afternoon, the temperatures were hovering at slightly above freezing and the icing on the trees and the roads was trying to decide if it wanted to refreeze or not. The winds came up … and the power to the cabin was out. It was going to be a c-c-c-coooold night if the power company couldn’t get up the mountain!! But we underestimated Valley Rural Electric … those brave darlings had our power back on within a short while, and life was good. For about 2 hours. Then just as my son was arriving and driving down our road there was a POP and a blinding flash and we were again plunged into darkness. The powerful power guys were back on the scene quickly and by the time we got back to the house after having dinner out, the electric was back and stayed back. Saturday was windy and gray with a little snow toward evening. Sunday morning broke bright and beautiful, as you see it!!! I hope you enjoy our view!!!! Now, go grab some hot cocoa (drinking chocolate to our British friends), crank up this tune … then come back and enjoy the rest of my winter-wonderland!!!!! TransSiberian Orchestra Taken from the deck at our ski cabin on Blue Knob in Claysburg PA December 21, 2008. I was using the Nikon D40x with the 18-135mm lens and the polarizer. Only levels and some shadows and highlights touched.

  • Well been away from RB for a week but will catch up with all the work I’ve missed from you all. I took this shot last night and got frost nip in the process, so my finger tips all felt like they had been smashed with a hammer, can still feel it a bit today, I’ve already been told off for not wearing gloves ;-) / It was really beautiful and worth a little pain. Taken on Mt Wellington Tasmania facing west to distant mountain ranges.

  • 19×25 pastel on Sennelier La Carte paper FEATURED IN C.O.R.E., FRIENDS OF RED BUBBLE, FIRST THINGS, THE PATCHWORK, AND THE SISTERHOOD / She has been sitting on my easel for the longest time. I finally got inspired to finish her. I made her a lot bigger than the others in the series, so that should appease her for me taking so long on her. / She is the Spirit of the North Wind. It is the wind of Winter and of death, but also of rebirth. She gives us the wisdom to overcome death and to know it is not the end. We must walk through the Northern gate at the end of this life and she will be the one to usher us through. Listen to cold Winter wind, and let her help you release your fears into the darkness of the night. Also from the Series

  • This shot was taken from the Patio at the Banff Springs Hotel in Banff Alberta. What a lovely place to sit for a drink!

  • Autumn comes to the Grand Tetons. My son, Sean, and I were traveling north on 9-27-2007 and arrived here at just the right moment. There were a ton of photographers here, as usual. I took a ton of pictures and got this shot after a tripod guy got out of the way. Taken hand-held with my Canon EOS-1D Mark III camera and Canon EF—24-105 L IS lens.
