Well, I WAS going to go back down to Garden of The Gods this morning, but the weather/roads reports say that the roads around Colorado Springs are iced over….hmmm so here I am, trying to figure out where to go and shoot. lol So I figured I would post a HDR shot shot from Garden Of the Gods which I took earlier this year, seeing as how it is on my mind at the moment Thoughts welcomed! Daintree National Park, World Heritage Cape Tribulation, Far North Queensland, Australia (approximately 150km north of Cairns). The cape was named by Captain Cook in the late 1700’s, since it was just a little north of here that his trials and tribulations started when he ran his ship on to the Endeavour Reef. I will remember this special day in The Rocky Mountain National Park. I spent a beautiful day driving through the mountains and doing a bit of light hiking. The melt-off had brought the water level up high enough to create streams and rivers of flowing water. The Elk were out grazing and the birds were darting about and the frogs!!!!!!..... It sounded like there were thousands of them croaking to no end! A wonderful time shared with my dear friends. / Kasey / Kat / Jonathan / Shiloh / Gary / Jan / and Donna… Not yet but soon to be a Bubbler! / All of these wonderful people I have met here on Red Bubble and are members of the Colorful Colorado group. this is a four-shot panorama of the Finstertal reservoir up in Kuehtai, Tirol, Austria. during spring and summer the reservoir fills up with water (max. of approx. 60mio cubic meter) and during the winter months it’s drained once again and used for generating electricity. the northern end of the reservoir is held up by a 149m high stone-wall, a pretty impressive view from down in the valley. the mountains you can see on this pano are (left to right): / Schöllekogel (2.902m), Kraspesspitze (2.954m), Schartenkogel (2.855m) and Finstertaler Scharte (2.777m), Sulzkogel (3.016m) and the Zwölferkogel (2.988m). location: 47°11.930N; 11°01.595E / Canon EOS 40D / Sigma 10-20 EX DC HSM / Hoya ND8 HMC / Manfrotto 724B digi -2,0,+2 f/11
