Wilsons Promontory – ‘The Prom’, 2008 Have managed this summer to get out there and surf a bit. Lately just me, my board and my camera down the coast, tenting it and basically taking time out for myself. After a few hours in the water you get this kind of fuzzy peaceful feeling inside, equal parts exhaustion and elation. I love that headspace of daydreaming, and find it a really inspirational state for visual ideas to come to the surface.

Thanks for looking The Legend / _The Aboriginal dream-time legend has it that three sisters, ‘Meehni’, ‘Wimlah’ and Gunnedoo’ lived in the Jamison Valley as members of the Katoomba tribe. These beautiful young ladies had fallen in love with three brothers from the Nepean tribe, yet tribal law forbade them to marry. The brothers were not happy to accept this law and so decided to use force to capture the three sisters causing a major tribal battle. As the lives of the three sisters were seriously in danger, a witchdoctor from the Katoomba tribe took it upon himself to turn the three sisters into stone to protect them from any harm. While he had intended to reverse the spell when the battle was over, the witchdoctor himself was killed. As only he could reverse the spell to return the ladies to their former beauty, the sisters remain in their magnificent rock formation as a reminder of this battle for generations to come._

...am feeling a bit edgy today….lol! Don’t go chasing waterfalls ..a first experimental bubble photo….. I took it on the plane over Malaga lakes, then I flexified it! and flooded it ! so it looks like your swimming over the edge of the Waterfall…whoops! At this time of the year the Amanita muscaria (also known as fly agaric) grow in profusion in the pine needles of this forest in the Blue Mountains (NSW, Australia). I believe they have magic qualities if eaten (I can imagine!!) ... there must be some very happy little creatures around as a lot of the mushrooms have holes in them! Chefchaouen, Northern Morocco / Canon 400D My boyfriend Unai (who is a basque photojournalist) and I were working together there for a few days two months ago :) It’s a magical blue paradise hidden between mountains!!! Children accompanied us throughout an afternoon, they felt a lot of curiosity about digital photography (this is a small village and the only one photo store there is an analog one). Timidly at first and very naturally later, they asked us many things about it.
