  • Twenty years form now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. “Mark Twain”.

  • Head-on shot of a Lear jet at sunrise.

  • It’s not only OK to color outside the lines… it’s mandatory for that sweet, creative juice to flow! OK…so they told you in first grade to color in one direction and to stay in the lines, right? Break the mold! Don’t be a cookie-cutter artist - instead, have a blast creating and KNOW IN YOUR HEART you’re talented beyond all reason! Shoot for the stars and expand your limits - your moment of fame and fortune is right around the corner! :-)

  • Spring blooms even before winter starts!! They seem to get earlier every year. It disappoints me, as tulips and daffodils were always a sign that spring was just around the corner – now it seems everyone is so impatient to have everything, that we can’t even wait for spring flowers.

  • By Day By Day By Day Make Hay © Vicki Ferrari This is my variation on an old saying that my Dad’s father used to say to him, and my Dad still does say to me – “Make hay while the sun shines”. I am unsure who wrote or said the original quote but whovever it was, they certainly knew what they were talking about! I created this series of cards in December 2008, using Photoshop. • Tell them all what you really think punk! A great t-shirt for Engineers, Cashiers, Clerks, Teachers, and just plain anyone fed up with the lack of basic math skills in America.

  • If a butterfly can flap its wings a thousand times a minute to reach its destinations, imagine what you can do! (Author unknown) The monarch butterfly on a bed of phlox is a lovely scene from my mother’s garden. The phlox were cuttings taken from the garden of my mentor during my practice teaching days in college over 30 years ago. Dear old Mrs. Branton who gave me the cuttings has long since passed away, but her flowers live on and so do the memories I have of her. She was a great inspiration to me and she would have approved of the sentiment on this image!
