This image was the winner of the “best alternative medium” at the ” Artbeat 2006 – Hung Art Competition and Exhibition ” August 2006. Butterflies are amazing creatures….it makes me smile when i get butterflies inside me, and i know those that have been or are in love feel them also….this is no coincendence that they are called butterflies…......ancient mythology tells us that they were given as a gift from a Lady to her husband to show him how much she loved him….so he could feel her love everywhere he went…. Today when you feel butterflies, feel honoured that you also have been given this beautiful gift This shot was taken along a roadside north of Gainesville, Florida.
