In a little while, we’ll be taking Jason t o the airport and he’ll be headed back to Alaska. For now, the morning is mostly quiet, and I have just uploaded several new pieces – digital paintings, mostly. I am not showing them all, now; mainly because I am too tired to do all that writing. Not to mention all the groups who accept one or two submissions a day, or sometimes per week, and so many of the pieces being able to fit in there. The one I uploaded is “the strange dreams of man 8” which, I am not sure why 8 was left on. It was there, originally, because I had downloaded several pictures to study, and one of the ones that this was painted from was the 8th one downloaded. Now, it has no bearing on anything, to me; perhaps someone, later, will give it a meaning and it will inspire others. Things are not going so well with my daughter. Well, I am not sure exactly how they are going, except that she still has not gotten to see her daughter. She was supposed to have a visit with her on Thursday (2 days ago), but, no one showed. So, now, they are saying that maybe she will see her, after the next court hearing. In the meantime, because CPS has inserted themselves into her life, they are supposed to be referring her to services that can help with family reunification. They have not! We are scrabbling about, trying to find what help we can, for free, as I have almost no money and she has even less. As Mom pointed out, it is very unfair that they are looking at a home that my daughter made for her child, with things bought and found by her and her family, and saying that her mother-in-law, who kicked her out of that home, is doing a wonderful job providing for the baby. Eh? I bought the crib, high chair, food chopper, my sister bought the dishes, I gave Morgan the coffee table, Mom bought more than one stroller and the play pen and the bassinet when that was neeed, and the comforter, sheets. Me and Dad bought most of the clothes, diapers, formula, etc – and now, she’s the one providing for the baby? I just don’t think so! Back to the artwork – I’m afraid to save it to disk, and I’m afraid not to. In a way! In another way, well, if it all disappears, God will still be in his Heaven, will he not? I have some pieces in real time, mind, that I could work on and try to sell, but, I get so nervous! And, they do need some serious work, some of them, due to damage from stray cretins and cats, both. It would be lovely to get a proper start again, though. First off, however, it is me for actually planning the menu I keep saying I will plan. I need to do it, and do it well, because I am bloody well tired of getting 5 steps ahead of myself, and then sliding all the way back down the hill, to loll about in the darkness and the muck a while longer. I will be healthy enough to think. I asked my sister if she’s ever felt so bad she couldn’t even remember the name of the person she was praying to. She told me that that she did, when her husband was dying. This was in the midst of an argument over what I think I need to do first versus what she thinks I need to do first. At that point, I rather gave up. Not because she won the point, mind, but, because I just don’t think she can see it. And, don’t get me wrong, because I love her – and I’m not saying she can’t see it because she has no feeling that way or anything. It is just – if the only time in her life she has felt as out of sorts as I do, on a daily basis, is when her husband was dying, then there just is no meeting point. Especially if she can’t understand that someone who lives with it, daily, is worse off than someone who only experiences it under extremely stressful, sad conditions. You know? Well, and most people don’t understand. I know there is a lady on here who understands, quite a bit, because she has similar health issues. Though, I suspect, she gets a fair bit more done with her day than I do. I don’t want it to be a contest, or a “I’m right, you’re wrong” thing, though. I just want it understood that I am a very intelligent, generally mature, person who thinks out their problems, who analyzes the situation, and tries to make the best decision possible based on the information at hand. That includes utilizing what is available, especially prayer, because I know who has my best interests in their heart, and that it helps to talk to them. And, I want people to do their job. That is going back to CPS, etc. It would be lovely if officers of the peace would actually try to keep the peace, if Justices of the Peace would try to be both just and peaceful, if lawyers would follow the law, and if child protection offices went about trying their damnedest to protect the children! Why is that too much to ask for?

You really do rock and excel at what you do. other works that sold this week from my studio / / This week I was thrilled that I sold an original painting of Two Dolls along with 2 giclee prints – one of Ocean Angel and the other of I’m a Little Teapot to a lady in Victoria who made contact privately. I have never met her before, and not sure if she saw me on RB or my website or was referred by another…I must ask her, it’s good to know these things. Thought it might be good to provide some examples of how they might look on the wall stretched as canvas prints or as giclee paper prints under glass… what you see here are giclee prints on canvas done on my printer of Ocean Angel and Two Dolls, one is stretched by the framer professionally, and the other was stretched by my husband on a A3 board… the “I’m a Little Teapot” is the original painting in a white box frame… gives you some idea of how they look up on the wall… always so much nicer once framed or stretched.. but i sell most of my work loose, it’s so much easier to post that way, and then one can choose the frame and matt or style they prefer to best suit the home/wall/paint colour. These are purely examples…but give a good indication. / If you’re interested in an original painting, please contact me for availability and price, alternatively, originals not available are still available as prints here on redbubble.
