  • Morocco, a magical land

  • Throughout China, signs are used to inform, guide and regulate. As an English speaker, some of these tickled my sense of humour, however I could never rise to the challenge of writing signs in Chinese. I wanted to share some of these with you. / I photographed signs in Xian, Fengdu, Nanjing, Huan Shan, Nanjing, Chengdu and Shanghai, and have placed them in context with scenes from the same areas. / Public signs help us understand the writers and what they seek to achieve. In this way we can gain further empathy with the Chinese people. I trust you enjoy this calendar – through buying one for yourself, and viewing it each day, in full living color, throughout the year. / Each individual image (with specific comments about it) is also available for purchase on RedBubble. Just follow the links below, for each of the months. / Keith Richardson. • A calender showing places of worship from various cultures and belief systems.

  • The Hong Kong escalator, at close to 1,000 yards in length, is the world’s longest. It runs between Des Voeux Road (at the bottom) and Conduit Road (at the top), and passes through Soho, the Hollywood Road antique markets, numerous high rise apartments, food and fish markets, and herbalists. The escalator operates downhill in the mornings, and uphill from 10 am until midnight. These are some of the scenes one sees while travelling on it.

  • The photos of this calendar belongs to a collection “Indian Painting” and show some of the immages shooted during my exploration of indian continent. / The collection has been elaborate with a process of post-production that tries to approach the photo to the painting. The result shows images where the line of the brush replaces it with the normal photographic definition, making brightest the colors and giving to the images a halo of antiquity that exalts the traditional aspect sought in the choice of the locations of the introduced images.
