  • Vanlose Stairway ~ send me some loving, send me some j’taime / and it comes right back to you Van Morrison Background: Van stayed here in Vanløse – a Copenhagen neighbourhood – with his girlfriend Ulla Munch for a while in the early 80’ies. Ulla’s 4th floor apartment has no elevator – Van coined it ‘a 20 flight rock’ [Bristol 12/20/99]. The apartment overlooks a long lush green valley …so Van wrote this song. Send me your picture / Send me your pillow / Send it through krishna / On the vanlose stairway Send me your bible / Send me your gita / I want to reach you / On the vanlose stairway And your stairway / Reaches up to the moon / And it comes right back / It comes right back to you Send me some loving Instant Song Lyrics / Send me some kissing / You know what I’m missing / On the vanlose stairway On the vanlose stairway / Right there, hold it And your stairway / Reaches up to the moon / And it comes right back / And it comes right back to you

  • Convict Lake is located along Highway 395 in the Eastern High Sierra just southeast of Mammoth Lakes, and due west of Crowley Lake nestled right up against Mount Morrison. The Lake has a similar appearance to Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada in that the water has a greenish tint surrounded by a mountain range. One of the many things to do around the lake is hike up into the John Muir Wilderness, fish on the lake and paddleboating. The lake was named after an incident in 1871, where a group of convicts escaped from prison in Carson City. A posse, led by Sheriff Robert Morrison, encountered the convicts near the head of what is now Convict Creek. Morrison was killed in the encounter, and Mount Morrison was named after him. (source Wiki – Convict Lake).

  • Bedlam heartburn / A series where I try to approach the fear of insanity. I believe that this fear is collective and that we all have to face it sometime, one way or another. This is a composite. First image is almost untouched and created with long exposure with a flashlight. Second layer is worked in CS. Both blended and mixed in CS. inspired by Jim Morrisons poem RESIGNATION We are drifting with current / to our death / with silent resignation. / Mad animal in a cage. We are convicted to death / I hope somebody / was having a good time at least. / Our world is a civilized slaughter-house. We are standing in a line, well-dressed animals. / I don’t blame any one. / Sharp God, and we ignorant beasts. Anf also inspired by We lost the skyline – Porcupine Tree Lyrics We lost the skyline / We stepped right off the map / Drifted in to blank space / And let the clocks relapse / We laughed the rain down / Slow burn on the lawn / Ghosts across the lawn / Swallowed up the storm Sometimes I feel like a fist / Sometimes I am the colour of air / Sometimes it’s only afterwards / I find that I’m not there In the dream dusk / We walked beside the lake / We watched the sky move sideways / And heard the evening break Sometimes I feel like a fist / Sometimes I am the colour of air / Sometimes it’s only afterwards / I find that I’m not there Porcupine Tree The Sky Moves Sideways lyrics

  • I return to this exact spot a lot. I have to say it is one of my favorite places to take photographs. This canyon is one of nature’s great cathedrals. It’s hard to explain the feeling that comes over you when you are standing there staring out across the water…Especially during this time of year, when there is nobody else out there. You can have the whole place to yourself, or share it with someone special.

  • Loch Arklet in the Trossachs area of Scotland. Fabulous untouched beauty. Taken using a Canon 30d with a 17-85 is usm lens. Polarised and edited on photoshop.

  • Taken at the Highland Wildlife Park in Aviemore. The animals were few and far between so I resorted to pics of trees. Taken using a Canon 30d
