Here is a photo I took this evening when I went to watch the sunset with hubby and the kids, it was such a beautiful sunset tonight so I though I would share, I have a few others but I might upload them in the next few days. Sold: Cards and medium mounted print of Last Light :o) Thank you !!!

Dragon Head rock…...well, it’s my name for this rock feature down our rough and rugged coastline….The shot below was taken quite some time ago and I’d always been meaning to get back to this spot again….Timed it nicely on this particular day as the storm clouds and light went wild – I love it when this happens – 1 min prior to this, it was pissing down rain and I was huddled under an umbrella out on the rock shelf, a few thunderclaps here and there..!! / As always, thanks for having a look and comments always appreciated…cheers, Rob..

What lurks deep under this rock ledge..?? A beautiful deep rock pool along the Mornington Peninsula Coast. It goes back a fair bit under the rocky outcrop so I’m busting to dive in and find out how deep it actually goes – just because I’m curious..!!

Can you feel the coolness in this shot….? Taken in almost pitch blackness and between rain showers…Sometimes, while on location I think – what the hell am I doing here ?...cold, grey, wet, waves threatening to wash me off the rocks !! / This shot re-enforces to me why I do it and why I keep going back for more and more…...

Night approaches along the rugged Bass Straight coast. Stormy greyness and a big swell surging over the black basalt rocks with a longish 20 seccond exposure in the near darkness….Sister shot to the one below – thanks for all your comments and feedback – much appreciated….rgs, Rob.

I was having my coffee this morning on the balcony while watching the rain and it gave me an idea so here it is! This was taken of the rain coming down on the balcony balustrade with the clouds in the background. I know that there are lots of amazing captures of splashes here on RB but this image really wasn’t about the splash, to me, it was more about the capture of morning rain. Best viewed large :o) Nikon D200 / 18-200mm lens, 5.6f / exposure 1/320 / processed in RAW

As the unpredictable and unrelenting waves crash in from the coast at sunset, I photographed this just before getting absolutely saturated…for the second time. / It was well worth it to see and experience the power of the ocean, even though it was a long trip home in wet clothes. / This was shot at 10mm. This image was taken on 1st April 2009 at Mills Beach in Mornington. / Canon 450D 18-200 lens / exp: 1/200s f5.6 / ISO 125 / I went to the beach with my family for some fish & chips and almost didn’t take my camera. My hubby talked me into it last minute. I would have been in tears!!! /
