River and I biked/ran along the old highway 512 in Renfrew County and we encountered this “shed complex” that has obviously lived a long and perhaps difficult life! Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Algonquin Park

At this point I am not sure Spring would ever come so perhaps the thaw around the tree over the lake was just some kind of “tease”. :)

Just before the last light of the day disappeared, River and I got to the edge of the forest and she had a good run at the other side of the fence! :)

The road less traveled has always been my path of choice whether intellectual, spiritual or physically, materially tangible My daughter and I live near a wooded area. Though we often explore in these woods we have never seen another person in them. I shot this view in an early morning fog. As beautiful as these woods are this is most beautiful I have ever seen them.

An early morning trip to the New Forest proved to be very fruitful. I think I was meant to be there as I’d planned to visit a woods near Fritham as it looked as good a location as any. I got there at 8:30 and starting wandering, eventually coming to a little woodland. After that I just followed the light and came to this. I stood for a few minutes in awe before doing anything.

Reservoir Vidraru, Fagaras Mt., Romania / Taken from a small boat which was close to turn upside down each the time somebody moved :) It was a challenge to get a steady shot.

This was also taken in Vienna, Maine, looking out on Kimball Pond. It was early in the morning and the fog was still sitting out on the water. It’s so still and quiet. Then you hear the pair of loons calling out with their beautiful sound. I love it!
