I took this picture near the beach where I took my waterscapes «Fog and fire»«liquid diamonds»«fire and ice »«land of fire»while going on the other part of the camp at the other beach.It was very foggy as you can see and the scene was realy magic .The same morning I took« Mirage» and «HEADLAND» but those where taken at the other part of the lake.That’s why I have so many picture with fog.Every time fog is there I ‘m out and very early of course ,it’s so quiet and magic .Walking in the woods is a real passion …but that you already know….inspired from the movie /

I love my walks in the woods … and I do come past this particular spot fairly frequently … never does the light seem quite right for a shot with character and personality …. you know the kind of shot I mean – one that “says” something!! Derrymore & Ballymoyer Woodland / The 50 acres of parkland at Derrymore is an ideal stopping place on a drive between Belfast and Dublin. Together with Derrymore House, a romantic Irish cottage, it makes for a dreamy experience. The woods and great oaks are home to the rare Red Squirrel.

I was off to take some photographs of some waterfalls in the Breacon Beacons in Wales when I almost missed this scene. Had there not been a break in the cloud I may have missed it. It was probably the best drive by shooting photograph I have to date. I’ve had a little play in photoshop and thought I’d post the results. / The original was shot using a Canon 5D, 24-70mm at 27mm, f/8, 1/60 sec, ISO 400. No filters used and mounted on the car door. I lost about 8 years of work due to a accidental click of a delete key in 2004, I stupidly had not backed up the work. Two days ago while clearing out the loft I found the photo of the girl with some others I thought had been lost forever, phew. The shot of the girl was taken in Sailsbury, Wiltshire, UK 2002 at a Civil War Reenactment and the the background is a lovely walk through Ashridge, Bedfordshire UK, which I took yesterday, I have added a few textures to the overall blend. The composite work has been done in photoshop CS4. I hope you like it. Greeting Cards / Framed Print / Girl / Canon D60, 70-200mm at 200mm, f/5.6, 1/250 sec, ISO 400. / No filters used and hand held.
