I thought the contrast was a little harsh on the original version of this work, so I’ve softened the colour by adjusting the balance, and I’ve also added photographic filters. One of the benefits of doing night shift in winter time is getting home sometime past 7am after a cold night at work and being greeted by this wonderful sight. / The scattered eucalyptus in farm paddocks appearing out of the mist. / I have had this image on my computer for quite some time and I liked it (sort of) but the frame of mind never quite took me to do anything with it til now. / It didnt quite do it for me, so I decided to b&w it today. So I did the b&w thing, then cropped the top of it and then thought… “hey I like that crop, I wonder what it looks like in colour?” / So I went back to the colour and gave it the same crop and here it is.
