In life as well as fishing it’s all about the journey! / As the sunrise burned through the fog early Sunday morning, on Clear Lake near Hunstville, Ontario, two fishermen enthusiastically set out for their favourite fishing spot… / This shot was as a result of an early morning walk in / August 2008 in the fog: part planning, part serendipity. grass head in the Autumn sunrise and the drops glisten from the nights rainfall. Although I spent a while focusing on the grasshead I wanted to capture the sunligh,t I was even more happy when not only had I managed to capture one drop but 2 little ones and a glow and sparkle – it was worth the bent back! This image was shot on location in Glencoe, Scottish Highlands. / It was early morn and the sun was still rising slowly above the mountains, creating rays and colour of light of a magical quality. This is my first post for a while, as I have been out of action somewhat, but I hope to make up for it. Canon EOS 400D, 35-80mm, single image shot. Tripod, cable release and AP mode.

Taken at the same location as my earlier sunrise shot only some time later. / The water dew and frost still very much evident on the foreground grass. / I used a mini tripod for this shot using the tilt angle viewer on my Nikon which allowed me get this close to the ground without having to get my kness soaking wet on the morning dew. Nikon D5000. 18-55mm. AP mode on manual focus and polariser. CS3 to complete.
