  • I only had one night in Newcastle before heading to Hunter Valley. So, I pick this pool due to it sizes and beauties. A larger size will come soon.

  • This shot was taken at Boat Harbour Beach on the NW Coast of Tasmania. You can just see Table Cape on the RHS of the shot in the distance.

  • Both the lighthouse and the red sunrise serve to warn sailors venturing out to sea. You know what they say, “Red sky at night, sailors’ delight. Red sky in the morning, sailors’ warning”! Taken around 4am in May 2007 at St. Mary’s Lighthouse, Whitley Bay, Tyne & Wear, UK.

  • A beautiful detail of a calm sunrise in Sobra on island Mljet. I woke up before sun, and as soon as I saw the colors I ran out of the house with the camera. Small fisherman’s boats were floating on the calm sea, and as the place is turned to east, the scenery and colors were stunning and ideal for shooting. / It was really beautiful. :) Location: Sobra, island Mljet, Croatia Additional information: / Hitech ND grad filter used.

  • Taken at the same location as my earlier sunrise shot only some time later. / The water dew and frost still very much evident on the foreground grass. / I used a mini tripod for this shot using the tilt angle viewer on my Nikon which allowed me get this close to the ground without having to get my kness soaking wet on the morning dew. Nikon D5000. 18-55mm. AP mode on manual focus and polariser. CS3 to complete.
