I have found that LIGHT in photography, as well as in our lives, can be your Best friend or your Worst enemy. The early morning and late afternoon light proves to be the best time for exceptional colors, texture, shape, and form in the images I strive to create.

I photographed this image on a trip I won to the Marlboro ranch in Clyde Park, Montana. It was about 7:00am, nobody was outside, and I decided to step onto the patio during breakfast and enjoy the scenery… and what beautiful scenery it is!!! I did not alter this images much, just increased the contrast on Photoshop 7.0 from 0 to 4, honest! I love the calmness of this piece as well as the lighting ‘imperfections’ Pixels: 3072 X 2304 / Inches: 32 X 24 / Resolution: 96 pixels/inch Samsung S760 Digital Camera 7.2MP… simple, I know!!!
