  • A soft misty fog in the early morning twilight hours at Queenscliff Pier. / Featuring the shelter shed and boat shed, Bellarine Peninsula, near Geelong / Taken on Fuji S3 Pro

  • Through the trees in Dandenong Ranges, Victoria

  • Corio Bay, Eastern Beach – Geelong. / I had me some time to stop for a few quick shots on the way to work this morning. Lucky to have such a clean surface on the water, the wind really chopped it up by this arvo. / I was particularly drawn by the criss-crossing of the wires and how they reflected on the water. For the record, it’s a HDR comp.

  • Dawn at Wye River, Victoria, Australia … on the Great Ocean Road.

  • Dawn over South Curl Curl Beach tidal pool, on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

  • This was taken in Banff National Park 5 years ago on an October morning.

  • Taken quite some time ago with an older camera but always one of my favorite sunrises…..........This was after a horrendous storm and it was very quiet, very still, almost peaceful…..the smell of rain was still in the air and there was just a hint of sulpher. The amount of lightning which accompanied this storm was a sight to behold; unfortunately I haven’t mastered the art of capturing lightning. / I hope you enjoy this. / / ____ All The Materials Contained May Not Be Reproduced, Copied, Edited, Published, Transmitted Or Uploaded In Any Way Without My Permission. • Rock formations at low tide. Taken with my 5D and the EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM lens. This is a 82mm lens and I am currently using Cokin Filters (handheld).....uuuuurrgh. I am very keen to get a Lee Neutral Density Filter set. If you have this setup I would be very interested to hear from you what experiences you have made in regards to vignetting and what Lee components you have mounted on your lens. Thanks heaps

My family and friends were enjoying a few days of skiing and I ventured out in the dark to see what I could locate to photograph. As the sky began to lighten, dead trees emerged from the mist and made the wait in sub zero temperature worthwhile. Image straight from camera with no manipulation.

  • WILD AND FREE / / Two cheetah cub brothers sitting on a termite mound. Taken early one morning about half an hour after sunrise. (Masai Mara – Kenya) / / The world’s fastest land animal, the cheetah, is a unique and the most specialized member of the cat family and can reach speeds of 70 mph. Unlike other cats, the cheetah has a leaner body, longer legs, and has been referred to as the greyhound of the cats. It is not an aggressive animal, using flight versus fight. With its weak jaws and small teeth, the price it paid for speed, it cannot fight larger predators to protect its kill or young. The cheetah was once a common animal found on five continents, but is slowly losing its race for survival and is now classed as an Endangered Species! • A sunrise of this immense beauty is a true rarity and I am thrilled to be able to share this with the redbubble community! The photo shows the beach in downtown Port Orford, Oregon near our home, with the color-bathed waves of the Pacific rolling ashore and the misted coastal mountains silhouetted against the gorgeous morning sky. The photo is unedited and reflects the intense colors and spectacular scenery exactly as it was witnessed! (Nikon D700, Nikkor DX 18-70 mm f/3.5-4.5 ED Lens, Settings f/4.5, 1/80th, ISO 200, 40 mm)

  • A flight to Denver Colorado, a 5 hour drive to Togwotee Mountain Pass, USA at an altitude of 9767ft made for some spectacular scenary, but also made for the worst altitude sickness EVER. One by one our party fell ill, only I remained standing. I went out on Christmas Day, took various shots including this one from the car, I also took a video diary of the trip for everyone in bed. I should really dig it out as I remember they wern’t happy with my jolly commentary. Only after I got stuck in the snow did I begin to feel exceptionally ill. The trip was immediately cut short. I missed out on the Devils Tower Wyoming and Mount Rushmore. Dammit. Greeting Cards / Framed Print / Canon 10D, 70-200mm at 135mm, f/9.5, 1/90 sec, ISO 200. No filters used and mounted on the car door. A small amount of dust and scratches removed in photoshop.
