Mornings in Venice on one of its many Canals tucked away in a part of the city that few understand and with it’s twisting waterways and small alleys that few know how to travel. It’s amazing to watch as your gondola manages to take you in and out of this giant maze with knowing ease! One would wonder if a person lost would ever find their way home again!

This was taken at the Cobblestone Golf Course, in Owen Sound Ont. This is a part of a building that was on the edge of a cliff, over looking Georgian Bay, I just loved the way the building looked, I liked the black and white with the fog. I hope you like it too! An early morning mist shrouds the awakening city. Photographed close by the famous boatyard or Squero of San Trovaso, one of the last places which still produces gondolas in the city of Venice using traditional methods to create these works of art. The Church of the “Gesuati” in the distance.

Gran Via is one of the major arteries in Madrid, Spain. It is filled with restaurant, shops and is bustling with traffic and pedestrians. Needless to say that this was taken in the early morning as I was making my way to the subway. There is no other way that I would have been able to stand in the middle of the street and have time to take a photo.

This is from the same bouquet of flowers as in my Little Signs of Spring and Flower Nest. So this would be the first I put up on RB that doesn’t have a piece of origami sitting on it~ This may not be a sunflower, but it does enjoy the sunrise!
