I went to the lake very early in the morning ,it was pretty cold but it was worth it ,it looks like the trees were in fire.Oh! This is again, from a drive through the back roads of the Dandenong ranges in Victoria. I was just driving around and stopping to photograph things that caught me eye (I wound up lost too). This is a plot of land behind a farmhouse near Seville.

Hello ! Everybody I was surprised by the great responding of that picture ,that’s why i came back for more explanations.It’s true that i live in a place where nature is the queen .I’m surrounding by lakes ,trees and mountains,my friend Michel is always talking about moving but i want to die here.I’ve been creating a garden for four years now,getting pretty.No neighbors in front ,in the back only on both sides and i never see them .The only bug ,no sunsets and sunrises,i have to take the car ….big thing …. / there a preserve aria belonging to the «Université de Montreal» that means no constructions for many,many yearsThe place i took that pic.is two minutes from my house.The many comments i had made me realise how lucky i am to live in a place like that .THANKS TO ALL OF YOU. On a frosty june morning I found myself to the top of a local range near Geranium in the Souther Mallee looking at one of the most brilliant sunrise’s I have ever seen. The warm glow of the sun across the clouds and the shifting light made me forget about the the freezing temperatures I was working in.

In life as well as fishing it’s all about the journey! / As the sunrise burned through the fog early Sunday morning, on Clear Lake near Hunstville, Ontario, two fishermen enthusiastically set out for their favourite fishing spot… / This shot was as a result of an early morning walk in / August 2008 in the fog: part planning, part serendipity. At this particular spot the morning-light show on that July morning a few days ago here in the forests near Hilversum/The Netherlands was at its best, when the sunbeams were chasing the morning ghosts. After which trees were they hiding? – I was ever so lucky to find this place in time, as this show was a fleeting appearance. I took this picture near the beach where I took my waterscapes «Fog and fire»«liquid diamonds»«fire and ice »«land of fire»while going on the other part of the camp at the other beach.It was very foggy as you can see and the scene was realy magic .The same morning I took« Mirage» and «HEADLAND» but those where taken at the other part of the lake.That’s why I have so many picture with fog.Every time fog is there I ‘m out and very early of course ,it’s so quiet and magic .Walking in the woods is a real passion …but that you already know….inspired from the movie /

Misty haunting morning this morning, sitting in a pine plantation at Mt Burr in the Limestone Coast area of South Australia. Last hints of fog lifting as the sun rose towards a clear blue sky. Canon 400D 18-55 lens with ND4 filter. Three shot HDR converted in Photomatix and cropped to size. Damn it was cold!!!!!!!!!!

Pastel on Colourfix sanded paper (burgundy) – 70cm x 50cm There is a radio program in Australia called ‘Macca on a Sunday Morning’, which explores all aspects of this country. There is a segment in it called ‘Why I live where I live’, and it got me thinking about where I live. I did this painting as part of a solo exhibition (‘My Easel and Eye’) which was held in 2005 and this was the first painting that was sold. Yesterday morning was a glorious autumn morning, and I went for my early morning walk. This same area of the bush looked exactly like this painting! While normally I submit different pictures to this gallery here and my galleries on deviantArt, I do not want to keep away from you the shots that are most successfull over there. And this one attracted more than a thousand views in only 16 hours! So I do hope you will like it too. / Taken again near Laage Vuursche in a lovely little beech-tree grove. As you can see the trees are still very green, but there are clear signs that autumn is on the way. It will only take about four weeks now to colour these leaves beautifully.
