This photo was taken just south of Fraser Island in Queensland. With a 30 second exposure at f10 this gave the picture a fairly surreal feel about it.

This is “The Arch” along The Great Ocean Road in Victoria Australia / It was taken with Cannon 20D with 17-85mm lensTv 20Sec. Av F5.0 and ISO100. I added brightness a lttle to lighten it up to show more details of the water pools in the rock. Dance to the End of Time / Dance to the End of Time #2 Another one from the archives that I didn’t get around to posting. I shot this 3 years ago in winter under a full moon at about midnight at Lake Eucumbene in the Snowy Mountains, Australia. This was my first shoot outside at night in winter. It was minus 5 degrees and when I got back home and my fingers started to thaw out I couldn’t believe the pain – Lesson 1 for winter night shots – wear mittens at the very least! / These trees were drowned along with a whole valley to create a man-made lake as part of a hydro scheme in the 1950s. They resurfaced as a result of a drought we’d been having for the last few years courtesy of global warming. Canon 30D / Tv: 30 secs / Av: f/3.5 / ISO: 800

This is Geronimo, my neighbor. Taken just behind the house last winter when we moved here from town. And WHAT a view! Although it was snowing when I took this, snow effects are added… as are Night Effects. I took this by daylight. Geronimo has since moved away but there are many other horses on the ranch.
