I have always wanted to do this when i was inspired by a similar shot i saw in ILP last year, but never found the right evening to do it…. When i saw the sky tonight i just knew its the right time :)

Some of the flowers that my boyfriend brought home from work and gifted to me were “unknowns”. These little yellow ones are a pretty surprise! Pentax *ist DL; 18-55mm lens; Ps CS3 Extended. / My garden.

Apophysis fractal opened in PSPX. I cropped an area and hey presto…there was the moon. Another serendipitous result.

This is a composite picture. I had to shoot twice, once for the moon and once for the lights. The moon, on this day, was a lunar phenomenon. During June and when it is a full moon the moon is closest to the Earth’s horizon giving the appearance of a larger than normal moon. The moon was so big and so bright on this night that it painted a moon beam all the way across the bay. / /
