Taranaq, granddaughter of the Tundra and her faithful companion Nanuk, the guardian spirits of winter. I went to bed…. couldn’t sleep…. so got up and created this. It turned out to be kind of peaceful, and comforting. Perhaps now I can close my tired eyes and dream sweet dreams until the morning comes – all too soon. Self portrait and stock images from sxc.hu

Digital Art: Created with Photoshop. Started with a blank “canvas”, selected a brush and started painting with the mouse. It took a while but the cold and snowy night is felt throughout the composition.

Photograph of snow flakes and the reflections of the trees, I used different shades of glass and metal sheets to get the look I wanted. I liked that it looks like a huge moon in the background…...It sort of looks like an abstract painting. / . / . / . / . / . / . / . / . / . / . / . . / . / . / . / . / .

Many dreams are forgotten or lost by the time we awaken fully, but that is not usually the case with dreams of flying. Flying dreams are very often a precursor for lucid dreaming; a dream state in which we are aware we are dreaming and can manipulate the outcome of the dream. Freely flying as high or as low as you wish using your arms or feet for direction, often with the ability to do acrobatics in the air is an indication that you feel really superior about something in your life. Once in a while, a flying dream will not go so well, such as when you can’t take off or you lose altitude or something is in your path and you can’t fly past or through it. / Surrealism art prints / Digital art prints / Fantasy digital art wallpapers

THE PROCEEDS FROM THE SALES OF THIS WORK WILL BE DONATED TO OINK’S FUND I was saddened to hear that Oink had been subject to vicious attacks from thugs. They had been throwing bricks at him and putting washing up liquid in the 15 year old’s water trough. After hearing about the threat to Oink’s safety, David Larkin kindly donated and set up a CCTV sytem in Oink’s field. Other well-wishers are making donations to Oinks fund, which will raise money towards providing further security for Oink, such as a new fence. Read the full story, here Please also see Oink’s new website which is also accepting donations. This is another photo merge featuring a Water Buffalo called, Oink!
