The complete and real title is : “Poupée – InnerSelf”. I asked to myself : Stars… They bright the sky, our eyes, our mind & soul. They are inside of us. We always look for them, for these glimpses of lights and happiness. / Do we really know ourselves? / Do we realize that we have all of this inside of us? / What are we in fact? / As we don’t really look in the correct place, we don’t really know ourselves i decided to ‘almost’ delete the face. When everything seems to be going against you, / remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, / not with it. / by Henry Ford —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—— / An illusion image I created with three of my photographs to depict the struggles in life – sometimes it feels as though you are ‘flying into the wind’. Thank you to the Tree Group for featuring Against the Wind in their July 2008 gallery.

It was an early morning start. I was meeting a friend for a sunrise shoot. The location was all planned out, so was the time – unfortunately we still missed each other. It was my fault. I went to the South end of the beach, he was at the Northern end. / / Sometimes a mistake can actually turn into luck, and this was the case here. A wonderfully still morning, beautiful light and the moon to boot….. / / I did eventually meet up with my friend after he finally answered his mobile, but wow was I glad I overshot the Northern Entrance…. Photo Taken: 19-Nov-2006 / Time: 5:20am / Conditions: Great sunny morning / / / Some other seascape art: / / / / / / /

My interpretation for Robert’s post… / / For every girl who is tired of acting weak when she is strong, there is a boy tired of appearing strong when he feels vulnerable. / / For every boy who is burdened with the constant expectation of knowing everything, there is a girl tired of people not trusting her intellegence. / / For every girl who is tired of being called over-sensitive, there is a boy who fears to be gentle, to weep. / / For every boy for whome competition is the only way to prove his masculinity, there is a girl who is called unfeminine when she competes. / / For every girl who throws out her e-z bake oven, there is a boy who wishes to find one. / / For every boy struggling not to let advertising dictate his desires, there is a girl facing the ad industry’s attacks on her self-esteem. / / For every girl who takes a step towards her liberation, there is a boy who finds the step to freedom a little easier.

/ / It would be such a pity to leave without a comment. Like it? Say so. Don’t like it? Say so too! With a bang, if that fits your style. I’d rather leave a negative impression (on someone) than nothing at all. DullnBoring is not my middle name. Neither my last (I knew you’d probably say that!). As for the first name, it’s on the front page. So, please, leave a note and make my day a beautiful one! Thank you from the heart my friend. / / . / Please view also my other work.. / / Thank you for visiting.

Little Boat watches as the Moon rises over the beautiful lake, as the waning sunset starts to disappear, and the gull flies to his roost for the night..;-)

It was a clear sky tonight. No clouds, no chance of a stunning sunset. Imagine my surprise when I looked out the window before the sunset and saw a big harvest moon, low in the sky. This is one of many pictures I took tonight. I thought that the moon might have been this way because California is on fire. But later on I found out that the moon is the largest in the sky tonight. More to follow. / Canon EOS 1D M3 / Canon 100 mm-400 mm lens with a 1.4x converter on.
