[Origin: 1200–50; ME dreem, OE dréam joy, mirth, gladness, c. OS dr?m mirth, dream, ON draumr, OHG troum dream; modern sense first recorded in ME but presumably also current in OE, as in OS] —Synonyms 1. Dream, nightmare, and vision refer to the kinds of mental images that form during sleep. Dream is the general term for any such succession of images. A nightmare is a dream that brings fear or anxiety: frightened by a nightmare. Vision refers to a series of images of unusual vividness, clarity, order, and significance, sometimes seen in a dream.
This is one of my personal favourites, hope you like it too. / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-——-
A Bald eagle silhouette against the moon.
I love fog I love the moon…what a fantastic dream to have them together… / One of my first double layers with Picasa,an experience I’ve tried, the moon is much to big but I liked the spooky mood…... :))....2 photos,a moon and a foggy night. The tittle came to me thinking about «Moonstruck» the movie with Sher when the old italian couple were looking outside the window by full moon .They were so much in love and it was so touching… / /
I was driving along a road in a seaside town at Jervis Bay National Park, just 2.5 hours south of Sydney Australia when I glimpsed this moon through some trees with a pathway of silver light across the water. A lucky moment, in that all the elements were there but tricky in putting them together because it was so dark I couldn’t see anything through the viewfinder and had to keep taking pics, viewing them on the LCD display and then moving the tripod to get the composition I wanted. / It looks to me like the trees on either side of the moon are partners about to dance onto the floor of some enchanted ballroom. Information for Sold! Group – Sold as a framed print to a work colleague and a laminated print to a mystery buyer off RB plus 9 cards off RB. Canon 30 D / Tv: 10 secs / Av: f/4.5 / ISO: 100
This composite was made specialy for a the “chaos” challenge last year.I just let myself go and tried something different from what I use to do.I had a old picture from my trip in France when I went skiing in the Alps. The black stain at the left is,in fact,a restaurant at the “Trois Vallées” resort and you also can see the skier’s traces on the snow…. :)) I did a double layer with a shot of the moon taken with my Panasonic FZ-20…some coloring “et voilà”.....just for fun….
Just playing around with moon pix. AlienVistor wrote this poem (how cool!!) / ... At the edge of fright / I wait within / The moons fair glow / On ancient rock / Above bottomless pool / I listen for the cry / That never comes / And the fog rolls in / And darkness falls.
/ . / I had some requests of a portrait shot of my photo entitled “Luna over Luna Park”. Luckily, I had taken the shot. I’m not great at giving photos titles, hence the title for this one. This was taken on the same night of my other photos “Luna Over Luna Park”, “Luna Harbour” and “Luna PANORAMA”. The photos were taken in quite quick succession. I attempted to combine the full moon, with the Sydney Harbour Bridge. You might be interested in viewing the other photos because this is in Portrait, two are in Landscape, and one PANORAMA. It’s amazing how a similar subject can be photographed in slightly different ways, and produce different results. I will interested in knowing which of the four is you favourite !
Photo of Cape Schanck Lighthouse, with a play around in a couple of programs to achieve this effect.
Inspired by the beautifull song of the same name by Enya. Several of my own photographs merged together in photoshop CS2.

Worth going to Larger for this one – heaps more stars. Storm off Bundeena Cliffs, Royal National Park. This shot has all my favourite elements in one image – the moon, stars, lightning, storm clouds, and ocean. What a treat this night was – getting some fantastic storms here. This is about the sixth I’ve photographed. There are two lightning cells here – the white one under the moon and the orange one off to the right of the main cloudbank. This is one shot in a continuous sequence of 100 I shot to create a startrails version. Unfortunately my computer is choking on processing that many 50mb files at once so may be delayed in posting the startrails version. Shot with the Big Scary Monster: Canon 1Ds MkIII – 16-35mm f/2.8 LII USM lens / Tv: 30secs / Av: f/3.5 / ISO: 200 / FL: 17mm

2008. Age 21. “Glancing up at the stars I feel comforted by the enchanting tapestry; a beautiful contrast of sparkling silvers attached to a black sky. It is darkness tantalized with mystery, and shares the emptiness I feel in my heart.” Ready to Die… Thank you for looking.
