This picture was taken on a golf place,it’s on a top of a mountain,very impressive to walk over there.That’s the reason for the sharp line.I put a crescent of a moon and add a little bit of blue…et voilà. We can feel alone but being part of nature is the key for happiness , an invidual renewed by all the beautiful thinks arround us . / / /

The complete and real title is : “Poupée – InnerSelf”. I asked to myself : Stars… They bright the sky, our eyes, our mind & soul. They are inside of us. Acrylic On Canvas Concept: Ophelia having some solitude, she’s meditating on what love is all about…love between lovers, between friends, between parents and children, between teacher and students, between owners and their pets and etc….the greatest love is when one is willing to lay down his/her life(others-seeking and not self-seeking) for another person whom he/she loves. While painting this, it also reminds me of a famous chinese love tale, “The Butterfly Lovers”....thus a pair of butterflies. It is a tragic tale about how a couple could only find their love bliss after they pass on and both became butterflies.I’m contented to have found my bliss :D View my other “Love Meditations” creations at my Zazzle store:

I was blessed to have Mountain Lion visit me in a dream this week, so I created this art to honor him. I hear stories of sightings of these beautiful animals around here in Estes Park, Colorado, but have never had the privilege of seeing one in the wild… Mountain Lion teaches us about asserting our own Personal Power without hesitation….something I am learning about in my own daily life.

For really stupid reasons I hadn’t seen my last surviving grandfather or spoken to him in four years, other than on the phone when he would call. He was admitted to the hospital yesterday. Tonight my father, stepmom, my sister and I went to see him. He was asleep, so we never got to talk to him. The nurse said he could live anywhere from 24 hours to a week. I watched him for several minutes, listening to his laboured breathing, knowing that soon he would be reunited with his wife, who died 11 years earlier. He would be free from pain. He’d be able to walk without his walker. He’d know heaven’s peace and eternal rest. But for now, he was caught somewhere between this world and the afterlife. He died less than 2 hours after our visit. I had already made this artwork and I was in the process of writing this poem when we got the call that he had died. Both this artwork and poem are dedicated to him and his 93 years. Somewhere In Between / ~ / Too humble to be heaven’s worth / Too beautiful to be our fragile earth / Is this just some intangible dream? I walk toward this brilliant light / With wings that carry me into the night / Yet still, I hear myself breathe. I hear voices and clearly sense / A peace beyond human transience, / Something beautiful and divine, I believe I hear the infinite chorus / Of all those who’ve passed before us / But I realize these voices lie not ahead, but behind.

Probably one of my favourite places in the world! This is the aptly named “Valley of the Moon” (Valle de la Luna) in the Atacama Desert in northern Chile. In the distance, the peak of the Volcano Licancabur seems to float above the horizon. It is just before sunset when the rocks take on a golden glow. The moment is short lived as the tropical dusk descends quickly. The white stuff is salt and the lack of humiidity makes the Valley of the Moon devoid of life. This is the most inhospitable place on the planet.
