  • Early morning on the south jetty in Port Aransas, TX.

  • I photographed this one at the same time as “Autumn Lullaby”. The light was particularly good that day.

  • Sunrise at Lough Corrib, Ireland / / Have a look at my other photos. For example: / / / / / / / / / / / / Or browse through one of my categories france / flower / poppy / water / leaf / other / reflection / macro / insect

  • This little collage is an idea I had which took me two years to put together. The misty shot was taken in January 2006, the aqua shot November 2007 and the Blue shot November 2005. It is taken of some cliffs near Horn Point on the track between Sealers Cove and Refuge Cove down at Wilsons Promontory. Mother nature constantly amazes me in her ability to render an identical scene in such dramatically different ways. For more shots from this area check out my Wilsons Promontory gallery. To read a story about the trip on which I took this shot see my Tour de Prom article. 10% of all profits go to the Wilderness Society

  • Small, wooden jetty on a lake with a gate closing it, in black and white.

  • Waiting for the storm on Northern California beach near Monterey

  • A couple walking along a jetty at the end of the street, Venice, Italy

  • Soft, puffy and somewhat late afternoon clouds, a fountain, and a lake that can read your moods.

  • A shallow view through a rainy window at the time of dusk somewhere in a housing estate on Budapest 10th district. Photo was taken with a fixed 30mm fast lens. Aperture value: f/1.4

  • This was taken at sunset at Vivonne Bay beach on Kangaroo Island, South Australia, Australia. The sky was looking a little angry and shortly after this shot was taken, it began to rain. This was taken in summer with a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera.

  • This is a rustic shed at Kaiwarra, Kangaroo Island, South Australia, Australia. This was taken in summer just before it was going to rain. I have added a water droplets texture layer to make it look like you are looking through a window whilst it rains outside. This was taken with a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera.

  • Penguin, Tasmania

  • Smoth silky reflective water meets some rocks and the mood changes to frothing bubbles.

  • Featured in ‘Weekly Theme Challenges’ (Thank you! – August 2009) My first real HDR shot. My Minolta can only bracket 0.7 EV but well, I’m still pretty satisfied with the result :) Personally, I like how the sun (behind the clouds) is going down almost exactly above the boat. F6.3 / 1/400 -0.7 / 1/250 0 / 1/160 +0.7 / Iso 100 / WB: manually / Used a tripod and put the 3 RAW-shots together with ‘Dynamic Photo HDR’. The photo was taken on July 13th, 9.15 PM at the Westerschelde in Ossenisse, Zeeland (Netherlands).

  • Canon S5is, taken a few years ago when I 1st bought this S5 and edited to this appearance with the Canon soft ware.

  • This is Moose Lake, a beautiful glacial mountain lake which is in either Mt. Robson Provincial Park, or Jasper National Park, in the Canadian Rockies. I’m not actually sure which park it’s in,but it was a delightful place to take a few shots. I expected that black tumult of clouds in the near distance to come along fast and produce a downpour, which had happened a few times earlier. But it remained stable and we stayed by the lake for at least 30 or 40 minutes. By the way, it may look like I used HDR on this image, but not so. I have never used it. Our trip through the Rockies produced an amazing array of cloud and skyscapes. Sept. 4, 2009, Fuji S100FS camera. Featured in “Point and Shooters” Featured in “Northern Landscape”

  • Highlands Scotland. / /

  • A peaceful day of inner reflection spent at Bill Evans Lake in southwest New Mexico, USA.
