This was in protest of the death of a cyclist on Montreal street who was hit by a motorist. / It was incredible. Rue Ste. Catherine was shut down in the late afternoon on a Saturday. Closed the city for ten minutes. / It was beautiful. / I would say that it made a lot of Montreal motorists angry, but that would mean the protesters really had no effect. I was outside, far from my grand-dauther,looking at an exibition when I turned my head and saw Angelica trying to stay on the narrow side of the fontain. It was about 5.30 p.m and the sun was going through the water,it was magical.Taken at “Le jardin Botanique de Montréal” /
I took this pic when walking in the big jungle of «Le biodôme de Montréal» …....... :))) They started the sprinklers of mist«spray« at the same moment as my shot ,that ’s the reason for that misty effect . That bird is called «Roseate Spoonbill». /
I had to zoom to have this shot but there was no other way to have that cute lemon cake….:))) a lotus or waterlily at “Le Jardin Botanique de Montreal” /
The interior of an orchid ,amazing scene .Lokks like an alien but I prefered to see that face like a gardian. An untouched macro .
Something different from me… / A photo I took at «Le Jardin Botanique de Montreal» when 4 musicians were giving a small representation. In both pictures the young man seemed so concentrated and in love with the music.I took another picture that day calledClassic Music / An experience I did,I put up the whites, darked it,printed it and scanned it to make it look more like an illustration.A cool card for music lovers. / / / / /

My very first layers with photoshop…just my first steps but many things to come…I hope…I took a photo of a personnage created for le Jardin Botanique de Montreal. The dancer was over the water and the shot was taken at night,I cut all the black and add some texture.I’ve duplicated the dancer and did a mirror illusion so the arms would cross like the 8 of infinity. The lights inside the paper statue were magic!! / This would make a great card for celebrating friendship… / / /
Montreal architecture
The Jardin Botanique, in Montreal Canada, is located right beside this infamous structure and I couldn’t help myself. I understand after a few years of closure that the elevator is now functioning again, so I plan a trip to the top in the fall. Haven’t been up there in years… The Olympic Stadium [1] (French: Stade olympique) is a multi-purpose stadium in Montreal, Quebec, Canada built as the main venue for the 1976 Summer Olympics. It subsequently became the home of Montreal’s professional baseball and Canadian football teams. Since the Montreal Expos relocated to Washington, D.C. in 2004 (and prior, the Montreal Alouettes second departure in 1997), the stadium has had no main tenant, and with a history of financial and structural problems, is largely seen as a white elephant. It currently serves as a 56,040-seat multipurpose facility for special events (e.g. concerts, trade shows) during non-winter months, and continues to serve as a venue for Grey Cup games hosted by the Montreal Alouettes. La tour de Montreal, the tower incorporated into the base of the stadium, is the tallest inclined tower in the world at 175 metres, and is a member of the World Federation of Great Towers. / -Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Featured in ARchitecture anbd Cityscapes group April 2009 / Featured in Unique Building of The World group February 2009 / Featured in the Architecture and Cityscapes photography group February 2009
Doorway at St Joseph’s Oratory, Montreal. I want to explore Montreal some more :)
Taken on Rue Saint-Paul Ouest in Old Montreal. This was the mailbox just off the Gandhi Restaurant, an indian eatery. The colour is what caught my eye. Features - Letterboxes in November 2008
This is a small butcher shop, deli and restaurant on Rue St. Paul Ouest in Montreal, Quebec. Old Montreal has a very European flair to it and this storefront is the perfect example of that.
One of my best friends modeling for me on my very first day using an SLR (a film SLR no less!) I was very happy with this shot and my friend is always a great model!
I think that Rome, Bangkok and Madrid were enough for 2008 so unfortunately no trip to China for me this year! This was taken during a weekend that I spent with my mom in Montreal … yes Montreal!! This is part of the Chinese gardens at the Botanical Gardens.

Who in their right mind rides bikes in Mins 31C in the ice and snow??? Only in Montreal!

Another shot made last fall while visiting my favourite place in my hometown, one crisp and sunny morning. This is the parc de la Promenade in Candiac, Quebec, and I thought that the clouds reflected in the calm waters of the St. Lawrence river looked like a puffy double-edged lace. We can see the faint outline of Montreal at far right. Focal length 24mm / ISO-100 / Aperture f/9 / Shutter 1/320 sec.
