I had just come home from living in England and Ireland where I fell in love with photography and knew I wanted to pursue it seriously. A lot of you have probably seen this photo before, but I like to include it in my new sites when I can because not only is it of my hilarious brother, Christian, but since it’s one of the first that I took with that camera it’s an important image to me.   This is one of my very favorite photos. I live in Minnesota where we have massive amounts of fresh water, but I frequently crave the ocean. Being by the water has always been so calming to me, and definitely a welcome calm in my crazy busy life, that I miss it when I’m not near it. www.saramontour.com

  I use to live on the top floor of this great triplex in Duluth that overlooked Lake Superior and had the most amazing views of the sunrises every morning.

  Just Past Watkins Glen State Park is a Small Town Called Mountour Falls.The Indian name for this waterfall is She-Qua-Ga meaning tumbling waters. Just Behind a Few BackYards- (NO KIDDING, there are houses on either side of this beautiful falls,) This was a Surreal Site to behold- even tho there was less water going over than I had hoped! ;) Olympus E-520 / July 09’
