Taken inside an historical turn-of-the-century home at Ft. Bridger, Montana. The way the light from the window illuminated the bottle on the table was just too much for me to resist :-) To me, it was reminiscent of the Dutch masters.

USA, Montana, Glacier National Park, Saint Mary Lake. Shot this in July 2005 during a camping trip there. Just my little digital Kodak Easy Share camera that takes awesome images. Using Photoshop, I adjusted the levels and saturation a bit to see the bark of the tree better. One of my favorite pictures I’ve taken. These young fox were playing along side the road near Helena, Mt. We were on our way home from Billings, I was driving the car, following Robert. He was driving a water truck to Kalispell. I noticed a dust ball along the road, and had to stop to see what was causing it! These fox were running through the fox holes, pouncing on each other, stirring up a ruckus! They were so cute. Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep. / Ovis canadensis canadensis. / Glacier National Park. / 18 July 2007. / Nikon D70s. In July of 2007, my family packed up and moved from central Florida to our new home in southcentral Alaska. We spent the entire month of July slowly driving our way across the North American continent, watching the landscape and ecosystems roll by and change around us. We spent several days at Glacier National Park in Montana. And this is where I came to love the Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep, one of the most regal, majestic, graceful and dignified animals I’ve ever encountered. There’s such a grace in those eyes, such a balance of both character and form. To briefly watch a bighorn watching you, before delicately sliding down a long, steep valley slope of loose rocks and gravel… Well, it just doesn’t get much better than that. Smoke from a nearby forest fire reflects off Stillwater Lake at sunset. This is similar to another one I posted but I liked how the one streak reflected off the water and also the silhouette is different. Thanks for looking.
