small portait in blue. an older work but still a favourite.
Barred owl, wild, watching over the woods below for any sign of activity which might mean a meal for this silent denizen of the trees. / /
Description is written under the artwork version of the same title.
This was originally a marker drawing. Then I gave it a new look in Photoshop.

Again… this is a quick water sketch. I’ve always believed and still do that there is no such thing as an unattractive person, The soft flow of a large person is as legitimate as a runway model. Beauty exists in the soul and not the flesh. Peace

This is my SON and my DOG (CALLIE ~ my best friend) I took this with my point and shoot camera as they were sitting there on the bed just hanging out. It is one of my FAVORITE PICTURES and one that I will treasure more than anything I take professionally. Thank you so much! :)
A sasanqua flower folded from a 15×15 square piece of paper. This was harder to fold than the little crane made by a 6×6mm paper, but easier to photograph. this is my son finding my GODFATHER on the Vietnam Memorial (he did not know I was taking this picture) My dad came back and my Godfather did not. My Godfather was MIA for six years, declared dead after that and then his remains were found after 25 years. I remember him this memorial day. Taken with my point and shoot while we were out on a walk. It is a special picture for me. Thank you for understanding and looking. This is my SON
This is an old drawing I did back in ‘03. I redrew it (inverted) on bigger size paper, then inverted the colors in photoshop. Also available as a t-shirt. I can’t speak of the mood I was in when I drew this, but I’m sure it wasn’t a very upbeat one (: Originally titled Demonic Embrace, I thought “Embrace” worked better.

Self-portrait The concept first originated when I noticed some time back that my pendant and blazer almost matched in colour, and I was going to name this “The Colour of Wood”. However that idea changed as I recalled a memory flashback. So recently I was wished a friend a Happy Birthday on Facebook; then I suddenly remembered a very sad memory around the same time back in 2004. It was my first year in university and only about a month had passed. I was invited to this girl’s birthday party. I had lots of work to do and I was debating on it. But finally I decided to go as it was the time to get to know new people better. So on the day of the party I was getting ready; then suddenly I got a phone call saying that I should come home; my grandfather had just passed away… I could not believe what I was doing during the last minutes that my grandfather lived; getting ready for a party when I should have been getting work done. My grandfather lived in Japan; and my mother was going to head there to attend his funeral, so I went home for the weekend to see her off. From then on I never went to a party during school (with the exception of one which was a bit like an exhibition; or term end celebrations). The key around my neck was one I carved when I was 17 from a wood print block; which originally belonged to my grandfather. Now his ashes have become a part of the earth, growing into trees; some which later turn into manmade object like my pendant.
