  • I know that in the big scheme of things, Mt. Monadnock is a relatively small moutain when compared to the many other monumental peaks of the world. But even at 3,165 ft., it still feels like you are on top of the world! Enjoy! Len /

  • Another view from the summit of Mt. Monadnock. Enjoy! Len /

  • Mount Monadnock as seen from Route 124 (Main Street) in Jaffrey, New Hampshire. With its thousands of acres of protected highlands, 3,165-ft. Mount Monadnock was designated a National Natural Landmark in 1987. There are 40 miles of maintained foot trails, many of which lead to the bare rock summit through unique alpine vegetation. Unsurpassed 100-mile views to points in all six New England states are the reward for a climb. This beautiful mountain is a favorite place to go hiking and I enjoy climbing her several times each year. Enjoy! Len /

  • Here is my favorite hiking spot captured a couple of weeks ago on a drive by to check out the conditions. I am anxious to hike my mountain for the first time this year. Only a few more warm days and the snow should be gone. Enjoy! Your comments most welcome. Len / / The same scene captured on a beautiful fall day
