This yearling sea lion still had the attention of mom when he came to shore. The care was evident as she nuzzled his face. The parents among us know that no matter how old they get, or how far away they move we never stop worrying, we never stop loving and we never stop caring! This image is dedicated to all the Moms out there who never stop caring. This image has been used a Mothers Day card and as a card for folks who have lost a pet. Thanks fot looking!

This is a watercolor painting I still have that I did in college. My Dad would ask if he could come along on one of my hikes and the rock climbing that it required compelled me to say no he could not. Anyway it it planted the seed for the idea in this painting.

this sunrise is very special to me. it wa 5:30 in the morning. i was on the phone with my mom, who i didn’t see since 2002. i woke up early to take pictures of sunries and i called her beacause i wanted to share this great moment with her. between US and Germany is 6 hours difference and very often i wake up early to call her… i miss you mom…
