Sakura is the time of cherry blossoms in Japan. I would like to see that someday. This was my first attempt at larger artwork in PS and Painter X.
Meditation. I haven’t yet figured out exactly what I am supposed to do, while doing it. But maybe that’s what I am supposed to be doing?
Are they majic? Who knows. But they are beautiful pieces of stone art. And, this way is a bit more legal.
Save the earth, it may be the only planet with chocolate! You can’t be too careful.
Cats have an awful lot of attitude, and require lots of attention (even though they would never admit it) every day. They are like little Ceasars or mini Napoleons. What can you do?
Kill Bill is probably one of my favorite movies for a lot of different reasons. And you must admit, a cute psychopathic killer in a schoolgirl uniform is pretty hard to forget. This was done in PS.
She was one of the first people I saw when I arrived in Thailand. It is a few years old, but it is still my favorite. It was a pencil sketch, with a little bit of PS.
More fun than getting shot at. Take ten paces…..ready…..turn and…..OZZIE!
I know it’s an oldie, but I like the idea. I tease my students at school with this line all the time.
I know it’s a bit late in the game for this one, but what the heck. INTO THE PIT WITH THEM! MUHAHAHA!
I used to love to watch “The Avengers” on TV. It had that 60’s campy cool thing going on. I like silhouette art a lot. I think John Stead and Emma Peal have to be one of the most easily recognized silhouettes around. For we old folks I mean. Haa!
Thailand has a lot of festivals and celebrations. I like to go to these because they are a great chance to see the more traditional aspects of the Thai culture.
Another funny line from the movies. Jonathan whinning because mummies never play fair.
I am sure I will pay dearly for this in my next incarnation.
Ohhhhhh no, of course, YOU”VE never shopped there.
We have 2 teenage daughters….nuff said.
I have lived in an Asian country for two years now. Every now and then I need real food! Cheeseburgers, tacos, REAL pizza!!!! This situation always reminds me of that Monty Python skit.
Are you one of them?
More kanji stuff. I was reading about the Tokyo two earlier. This kanji says “Leave those whales alone!”.
Life, or the afterlife, is too short! So hug your furry faced friend or your blood slurping buddy today. I know it’s early for Halloween, but what the heck.
See? It was just a matter of time before these nasties got their hooks into a good thing. “Talk like a pirate day” is one of my favorite holidays. I refuse to conform!
More kanji experimentation. This one calls it like it sees it,
Learning a new language can be hard. Trust me, my Thai is still horrible. But, if you are planning on visiting Japan, you should know how to say at least a few things. The problem is that so many of the sounds just don’t want to come out right. To help you with this, i have made this t-shirt of handy phrases to use. When someone asks you a question, just point to the right line, and presto! Problem solved….... 1. “Hello.” / 2. “I don’t understand Japanese.” (Sympathy never hurts) / 3. “How much is it?” (Great for when you are strolling about / the market) / 4. “I’m looking for” .... (Just show them that silly tourist map you / have been clutching since you got off the airplane, and ask for directions) / 5. “Thank you.” (always be polite) / 6. “Where is the restroom?” (in case you get the food bug) / 7. “Yes, I am a movie star.” (Hey, You never know until you try!) / 8. “Would you like to go on a date?” (Give it a shot, they think you are one, or the other, half of Bran-Jolina now) / 9. “I love you.” (Use as needed to get results) / 10. “Goodbye.” (All good things must come to an end)
