A morbid history of St. John’s… the hill in the background is known as Gibbets Hil, it is where all the criminals were hung in public executions. The body of water at the base of the hill is where the executioner would throw the bodies when they were dead. The pond is known as “Dead Man’s Pond”. / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography / /

This is what a Mother of the Bride is supposed to look like I assume. Uncomfortable, stressed and never look as good as the bride which my daughter looked like an angel. I on the other hand looked like crap. I needed a good stiff drink and some food which I missed which I paid for and some champagne which everyone else got but I missed and I paid for as well. What’s up with that? It was a lovely wedding but I wish I would have had time to enjoy it. / Last photo of me…I Promise!

This card features an opportunist photo from an officially invited day on set to the soon to be released new film Awaydays, an adaptation of the excellent book of the same name from Kevin Sampson. / After arriving by train to see how the film was made we arrived during a vital take. We got out the way for the time being on the bridge above and then did this improvised shot, gives the impression someone is secretly looking down at the soon to be charging ‘Pack’.

"What do you mean he wasn't dead?"

The Ant-Hill Mob led by Clyde, with Danny, Kurby, Mac, Ring-A-Ding, Rug Bug Benny, and Willy were gangsters in a 1920s saloon car, the Bulletproof Bomb, aka the Roaring Plenty. Their usual method of improving the speed of their car was “getaway” power, which was achieved by extending their feet through the floor of the car and running, the same way Fred Flintstone accelerates his own prehistoric car. The Ant Hill Mob re-appeared in the spinoff series The Perils of Penelope Pitstop, with Clyde in a silver outfit and his wingmen, with new names, wearing blue outfits and riding in a new living car, Chugga-Boom. The original good guys and mobsters long before the movie that inpired this shirt was made.
