Lance is my own creation. I have some of his story fleshed out but not all of it. / He’s one of those kind of guys that succeed in most everything he sets out to do. In college he discovered that he had a talent for writing songs, and so took up the guitar. He and a group of friends produced a CD. One of their songs hit the charts and the money rolled in. Being the kind of guy he is he wanted to give back to the community. After college, Lance made some wise investments and played the stock market then bought an apartment complex for needy families. He opened a non profit establishment which helps the needy, ex druggies, and those in abuseive lives get the help they need and jobs to start a new life. He’s a all around good guy who’s kick boxing hobby had earned him many first prize matches, yet he does not believe in violence. / Well sooner or latter every one has to take their lumps, and Lance is no exception. After 5 years of marage to his high school sweetheart, and one 2 year old later. tragedy struck. It couldn’t be something simple, it had to be complicated. His wife and child are killed by a drunk driver. And it doesn’t end there, at their funeral Lance discovers something he wished he had never been born to hear. His faithful wife was not so faithful. / As he walked to the grave sited, he sees another man standing in sorrow. Lance’s kind natured heart goes out to what he thought was a friend of her’s he had yet to meet. But he soon discovers the man is not only her lover, but the real father of her child. She NEVER told the man she was married. Will the humanitarian be able to over come the rage now stirring inside him? Only time will tell. Dedicated to my father who passed away 9/15/08. Ephemeral: Lasting only one day. Lasting a very short time. I created this using various old images I had laying around and played with it in Photoshop. I almost feel like I should have a poem written for this piece, but alas, i am not a writer! This piece was featured in PixElations-The Art of Photography, The Graphic Room-Graphic and Digital Art and the Live, Love, Dream group as the Top Feature Piece of the Day – 9/5/08. ...freedom to roam today am going out for a walk in the beautiful countryside and enjoy Mother nature..and get some horse hugs and kisses from the old gentleman and as he gently lowers his head and blows softly through his nostrils, I cuddle him and think what a joy he is this old stallion….. .beautiful day .River Waveney .Norfolk Broads UK..NRDC .....Solved by maebelle .Save Endangered Wildlife and Wild Places….A first experimental composite using photographs I took at the Norfolk broads UK…enhanced the photos using redfield fractallius plug-in thenlayered the horse onto the landscape blended in /added the birds/tweaked it up in photoshop/corel.featured in ‘Digital brushstrokes’ ....!

For my dear friend-Donna Adamsky. These bright flowers have a Summer Glee about them that are hard to ignore. I absolutely fell in love with them at the local nursery and had to bring them home to put in the side garden by the north end of the house. Hopefully they will Winter well there this year with some hay on top of them and pop up again next summer. I love the brilliant contrast between the flowers and their bright little “faces”. This one has been sitting unfinished on my PC for a few weeks, I was just not sure what I wanted to do with it until last night when I was reminded of the beautiful song “Autumn Leaves”, originally by Edith Piaf (in French, naturally), but beautiful also in its English translation as below. This was one of my favourite songs to sing when I was a teenager and I have wonderful memories of singing this to the beautiful piano accompaniment played by my cousin Anina. :) This is a mixed media piece in which I digitally combined a roller ball drawing I did for the purpose, with a chalk pastel drawing and photographic textures and brushes.
