This photo was taken just south of Fraser Island in Queensland. With a 30 second exposure at f10 this gave the picture a fairly surreal feel about it.

Shot this back in November, 2004, when the grass was much greener, and there was water in the dam. There’s only been water in that dam one other time since then, and it lasted around 6 weeks….this is a nice reminder of what we used to have…. Sold this a number of times pre-redbubble, mostly A3 size, and it won me a $1500 prize from the Brisbane City Council, as well the John Herbert medal at APSCON 2005, and also a number of other smaller prizes. This was sold december 2008 on redbubble as a matted print. This is a first of its kind for me.. Found some time to play.. I liked the fog and ferns.. Then I thought a rising lotus to bring out a thought of hope for mother earth.. There is so much talent out there for this type of special edit art.. I am just starting to crawl but will work down the road to play again.. Hope you enjoy..
