I’m chuffed to bits at making my first sale on here of a laminated print. The picture is question was taken on a gorgeous misty morning last October. It was as quiet and serine as it appears on the photo apart from the sound of geese every so often coming back from their travels overseas. You couldn’t see them because of the mist and is was a bit spooky! The mist just hung over the sea, and I’ve never seen the sea so still! I was very pleased when I checked out the pictures on the computer at home. Thanks to the buyer!

I am quite stunned to have my Misty Morning shot voted by the Stillness Speaks Group as Avatar for May. What a buzz!!! Wow. A big thank you to all who voted, whether it was for my image or one of the other contenders … it really does put energy into the group and encourage the other members. Cheers (and a little happy digi-dance) / Rosalie

Fourth feature for this painting... I am so pleased…thank you so much Sharon Mau / Softly as in a Morning Sunrise Softly, as in a morning sunrise / The light of love comes stealing / Into a new born day—oh / Flaming with all the glow of sunrise / A burning kiss is sealing / The vow that all betray / For the passions that thrill love / And lift you high to heaven / Are the passions that kill love / And let you fall to hell / So ends the story / Softly, as in an evening sunset / The light that gave you glory / Will take it all away

The Second Feature for “Typhon” / The Typhon “Aloft all hands, strike the top-masts and belay; / Yon angry setting sun and fierce-edged clouds / Declare the Typhon’s coming. / Before it sweeps your decks, throw overboard / The dead and dying – ne’er heed their chains / Hope, Hope, fallacious Hope! / Where is thy market now?” Thank you so much

Thanks a whole lot to the hosts of Flotsam and Jetsam for featuring my image of Margaree Morning, One nice thing about wandering the coastlines, one can usually get a nice image of driftwood and other ocean-borne debris, but it does enhance the overall scene. /
