This is a row of willows that is not more than a 100 mt. far from my house, in the country side near to Scalenghe in Piedmont, Italy. / I took this on a very early morning last november, 30 minutes after sunrise, while a thick fog was coming around, quickly obscuring the entire scene in just five minutes. Hope you enjoy it, thanks for viewing. Paolo
As a landscape photographer I am always in search of new interesting spots to depict. That’s why I travel a lot, when I can. However, I do believe that photography belongs more to how you see, than to what you see. With this in mind, I try to take advantage of any opportunity nature present me with, and I often realize that I don’t really need to travel a lot… This meadow is right outside my yard gate. I took this picture on last October, on a fresh early morning at sunrise, while some mist in the distance was spreading the dawn light tinging the sky with beautiful warm tones. Hope you enjoy this picture, thanks for dropping by. / Paolo

Shot at Haystack Rock, Cannon Beach, OR. It was a misty evening and the people were moving through the fog to get to this very large rock looming up and out of the ocean. From a distance…they all looked like shadows in some kind of a trance making their way.. slowly towards a goal. It was as if the rock was calling to them…as if it had it’s own siren’s song with a promise of something needed…maybe spiritual healing…or inner peace? – Most likely, and in reality, what they all probably needed was a nice photo to take home from their travels. But, I choose to believe the other…I like inner-peace :) The title of this photograph was taken from a Peter Gabriel song “Come Talk to Me” which kept playing over and over in my head as I worked on it. I thought it appropriate. :) -
The Flat Earth Society / “The facts are simple,” says Charles K. Johnson, president of the International Flat Earth Research Society. “The earth is flat.” He believes that the main purpose of the space program is to prop up a dying myth—the myth that the earth is a globe. “Nobody knows anything about the true shape of the world,” he contends. The sun and moon, in the Johnson version, are only about 32 miles in diameter. They circle above the earth in the vicinity of the equator, and their apparent rising and setting are tricks of perspective, like railroad tracks that appear to meet in the distance. The moon shines by its own light and is not eclipsed by the earth. Rather, lunar eclipses are caused by an unseen dark body occasionally passing in front of the moon. Johnson’s beliefs are firmly grounded in the Bible.

Sunset at Clingman’s Dome in the Great Smoky Mountains in TN. At 6,643 feet, Clingmans Dome is the highest point in the Great / Smoky Mountains National Park. It is the highest point in Tennessee, / and the third highest mountain east of the Mississippi. Shot right on the Tennessee/North Carolina state line…this shot is a combination of both states Beauty
