Full view definitely needed :) This one is a bit special for me. The image is inspired by my favourite RB poet girlinthestars and my favourite poem, in her amazing collection, titled Mermaid. Significant for me, but you will have to read the whole poem to find some meaning for yourself :) Inspired, my friend Simon Muirhead was kind enough, to let me have complete artistic freedom to use one of his latest photos Flat Rock. This photo is perfect as the background of the image and Simon has become a bit of an expert at these fantastic, slow-shutter speed photos. Check out his gallery! Here is the poem: / Mermaid You always thought of me as a / Mermaid / In a sea of sharks / You thought they were always looking at me / So you were protective / Then you thought I was looking at them / So you became possessive / You believed there was a part of me I hid / That longed to be free / But truly, I didn’t / You didn’t know I hated being doused in / Salt water / It never charmed me / I tasted it so many times before / I knew better You’d always say / You’re so beautiful / How could you want only me?
