BEAUTIFUL MOON OVER MISSISSIPPI
In Bloom Now along the MS Gulf Coast…stop and smell the amazing aroma :) / Southern magnolia is an aristocrat of trees. It grows as a native throughout the lower South, is widely adaptable to a variety of soils, and has few pest problems. With glossy evergreen foliage and large white fragrant blossoms in spring, it truly is one of the most handsome and durable native trees for Southern landscapes.

Dutch Wind Mill— Fulton, Illinois This authentic wind mill was first constructed in the Netherlands exclusively of wood, then dis-assembled and shipped to the USA. It was re-constructed by the same Dutch builders at its current location on the Mississippi River. A popular attraction both for tourists and the locals, it is now one of only two working windmills in the USA producing flour and corn meal in the time-honored way, utilizing wooden gears and the power of the wind. (This is just one section of the Great Mississippi River Trail which originates in Itasca, Minnesota and stretches all the way to the Gulf of Mexico, providing nearly 3000 miles of biking trails and pedestrian walk-ways flanking the banks of “Ol’ Man River.”) Taken with my Canon Rebel XTi – some light enhancements done with Photoshop CS2) Featured in the WHICH WAY GROUP
