  I’m having withdrawls! In order to combat them, I just uploaded my first (archived) photo in over a week. : ) I’m in the process of switching all my photos to an external hard drive and removing them from my work computer (the only computer I had until just recently). I’m not able to add any more pictures to my work computer, and the home computer isn’t set up yet. In fact, I’ll have internet, but not until October. So…long story short (you may be confused because of the missing details, ha!), I haven’t been able to work on pictures lately (downloading, editing, etc.). This is really hard on me! LOL But I’ll survive. So if you’re wondering if I’ve dropped off the face of the earth, well, I have in some ways, but don’t worry, I’ll be back! You might not see much of me before October as I’m headed to Montana in two weeks (yipee!) but I’m sure I’ll be upload-happy in a little while again. Thanks for taking the time to read my ramblings. I appreciate you guys, and love seeing your work! Ann

  I wish to apologize….. / I have been absent from RB while taking some time out on a bit of a retreat. I am sorry for all your beautiful work I have missed, and the comments that have gone unanswered, the favourites unthanked. Please know that I appreciate every single one of you for your kindness and consideration and accept this as my sincerest thank you. I notice one of my works even made “home page” in my absence – wow! that blows me away! – as do all your wonderful congrats on that image “Forgiveness”. Now I ask for your forgiveness and understanding ….I am going to be taking more time away from RB…. It is something I need to do. I will not be visiting here as often if at all…. So for all of the incredible images that I miss seeing, the beautiful expressions of your own creativity that I am unable to share at this time, I say – keep the creative flow happening – it enriches your own life and the lives of all who view your gifts, and the world is a better place for each and every one of you! Saw some beautiful places :)) Had a wonderful time, took way too many shots, am yet to really sit down and view them. Bought myself a New Years present - / Canon L series telephoto IS USM F4 70-200mm…... and I LOVE it !!!! Look forward to catching up with you all and viewing your work I have missed…..may take a while LOL Thank you all so much for the comments, favs and mail while I was back home I really appreciate it . My son has won tickets to see Bob The Builder so we are off to Sydney to stay with my parents…just in time for the APEC Conference. (Yay) / They live relatively near the beach, so because they can look after the boys, I think I’ll get a chance to get some stupid o’clock shots in.   Just wanted to write and say hi to all of my wonderful friends here on RB… Im alive lol…. I so much appreciate all the mail, You all mean so much to me…. I had to go out of town, came home last night, and the unthinkable happened…. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr lol, My new computer, had been struck by lightning while I was away, so thats what Dell says…. and is just all messed up… Im praying my stuff on my hard drive is all still there, I think it will be though… anyways lol… to make a long story short…. the Dell Service Technician wont have the parts until Thursday, and then he has to call to set a time to come out here, so until then, I wont be too active…. I dont care for this laptop lol, and alllllllllllllllllll my stuff is in my pc…. So im like a chicken with its head cut off right now and that aint too good ! LOL I miss you all very much and am so touched by all the emails, bubblemails and etc…. Know that I am thinking of each of you and will talk to you as soon as I can… If I DONT MAIL YOU BACK RIGHT NOW, its not that I dont wanna, its that Im really behind, REALLY BEHIND LOL, on all mail !   Hello every one, hope all is well, I am back, I have caught up on all the comments that were left for me on my work and thank you to you all for all of your lovely comments they are much appreciated. / I am back now after being flat out, I will catch up as much as possible and also put up some new work that I have been meaning to put up but have been to busy to stop to do so. / I am still in my wheelchair but have got hold of the pain so far, my broken shoulder is healing slowly as well, but its all been work work work for us so that is a positive thing. all our kids are well and birthday parties are over and done with, well for at least 2 weeks any way then it is Jase’s birthday. / Any way missed you all and all of your wonderful work, oh and congrats to Belinda from meerimages for having one of her pics on the home page.

Are you (or a willing victim of your choice) willing to get your gear off for a good cause? If you answered yes to the above then boy howdy! Do we have a competition for you! The Dynamic Duo of Rose Moxon and Mel Brackstone have joined forces to create the must have calendar of 2009, with proceeds going to The Fred Hollows Foundation. Coming soon, Voyeur ‘09 will star some very special Redbubble members strutting their stuff in front of the camera for a change, and strutting it like it’s never been strutted before! This is also a total collaboration fest with many of our world class photographers teaming up with members of Redbubble creating some sexy, sassy images and having a whole lotta fun while they are at it. Of course, we are not at liberty to divulge their identities just yet, nor can we discuss the themes for each month, HOWEVER… just between you, me and the bedpost I have heard rumours there may be tractors, feathers, rockets and naughty Santas OH MY!   Hi I am having ongoing problems with new work not appearing in my activity screen from most of the people I first added to my watchlist. I had to delete quite a few and re add. Hopefully this will solve the problem. I know this has happened to a few others here as well. Apologies if I missed some of your work, I had assume that some people were simply on holidays or were taking a break, it was only when I visited a portfolio recently that I discovered I have missed up to 7 uploads.   You might have noticed that I was off RB for a while…...well…..the computer crashed and in between that happening….I met my perfect love and we spent the weekend together in sheer bliss!!!!! Just before it crashed I found that Del Millar had written a poem for me Over the Rainbow that really is a poem of prophecy …..as it did come true and was everything I was feeling…..so I want to thank Del for this wonderful poem. Also….Sally Omar..my dear friend, put a piece of my work to her gorgeous poem Did You Forget for which I am very happy and feel blessed.   I’m so excited to be home…. 6 days away from RB was just too much to handle. There wasn’t one of those days that I didn’t think about RB. I even found myself dreaming about the site. It is SOOOOO ADDICTIVE…....... / Now I’m home and have so much to catch up on – pages of new works from people – which means lots of typing, heaps of really nice comments to read and new photos to upload. I can’t wait. / While I was away my new IR lens arrived so when I get a chance and the weather clears I’ll be off to try that out too. Thanks to everyone who left comments whilst I was away – I’ll be sure to return them as soon as I can. Thanks to all the people who added me to their watchlists as well. I’m so excited that people are liking my work and want to see more… Glad to be home…. / Naomi P.S. Bob The Builder was good too. Not so sure about his support act, Barney the big purple dinosaur , but Bob was cool.

  Good Morning Sunshine and Let there be light...

  Good Morning Sunshine and Let there be light cards went today to a wonderful human being that couldn’t resist temptation and commited hard earned money to purchase them. Unfortunately, I do not know who this person is for a proper recognition, but I do know one thing: it made my day a wonderful day. Thank you so very, very much to you my friend, God bless you. I hope you will enjoy my art in this concrete form as much as I did creating it. One week ago, another “mysterious” great artist (a huntch tells me) purchased a card with Miss Pogany blushing. I must admit that this is not a very popular composition. Art doesn’t always follow the path of the crowd, but follows most often the beatten road of the heart. Thank you so very much wonderful friend for your commited appreciation of my art. And thank you from the heart to all my new and old RB friends who always honor me with their visit and comments, regardless of my level of inspiration on a particular work. You always make my day a beautiful day my friends.

  I had to take a couple days off to recooperate. I went around with my dogs, hung out with my roomate, stopped off at the local bar, slept a lot, and went to a movie. Ok now I am recouperated yet now really behind. Sorry to everyone it will take me a couple of days to catch up. I cant wait to see what everyone has been up to….   Hey everyone!! just wanna write a quick sorry notice!! i’ve been very inactive on RB for awhile eh? been inactive on Zazzle too.. eheh.. Sorry sorry.. n_n” am actually currently busy with my website, as you might have seen here ... It’s actually, sorta almost done.. just left a write up on Tim, since i do see a few people asking who’s Tim. hehe.. am also supposed to touch up the programming for the enquiry page.. and do 3 more banners.. and all must be done before 08.08.08…. YEAP!! Will officially launch my webbie on 08.08.08!!! Bwahahahaha…. You can call me a sucker for lucky number.. i can’t help it.. This is the year of the Rat, according to the lunar calendar, and yours truly, happens to be born exactly 12yrs ago, on the year of Rat.. XD the number 8 (ba) is known by the chinese as a lucky number as its pronunciation is similar to the word Fortune. fa in mandarin can mean richness.. AND guess what?! all my relatives and family calls me papa.. ehehe.. weird eh? my pet name was supposed to be fafa, but it somehow turns into papa.. so yea! i get uncles and grandaunties calling me papa… OO” papa… baba… fafa… O_o” And so i really hope to officially launch my webbie on the 8th Aug!! XD / oh shoot, that’s this friday… ARGH!!!! and can’t wait to finish my current project.. i just took up a short-deadline freelance proj, to create an interactive platform for a kiosk featuring Disney’s Wall.E!! i don’t know whether to smile or frown… i love being able to watch all the high res trailers and playing the games, but i hate actionscripting!!! OO” the project is due tomorrow, sorta.. i guess i’ll still be able to finish my webbie on time.. Oh, will take a videoclip of the platform later if possible and share with you guys!! =D Last and most importantly, so so sorry to everyone whose work i haven’t view or comment or fav!!! so so sorry.. i haven’t been able to come over to RB easily these days with this proj..   Today at 1:30pm, my dad passed away. He passed away peacefully at home. It is really hard to comprehend how fast he really went. On February 22, the second MRI was done on my dad’s head, in particular, his right eye. We were devastated when we were informed that his cancer had developed into a mass behind his right eye. The oncologist told my dad and mom that there was nothing else could be done. They could try and radiate the mass behind the eye, but the cancer would just develop somewhere else and he most likely would not regain use of his eye. He recommended they go home and that he didn’t think he had months, but weeks, and to register for hospice. I arrived in Colorado on February 23rd and have been here ever since. When I arrived, my dad was able to get around pretty easy with only a slight wobble to the right occasionally. Sunday he was weaker, and by Monday he was unable to make it up the stairs. His speech was also weak, it kind of sounded like the voice of Clint Eastwood. He was also not eating very much. We registered him for hospice, and they took him off some medications, and also added some. One of the drugs was a steroid that actually perked him up quite a bit and he began to eat. But this would only be temporary. We would soon be helping my dad do everything. We had to get a walker, wheelchair, bedside toilet, and within just a few days a hospital bed. We slept on the floor so we could be close by help him if he needed us in the middle of the night. I can’t tell you how difficult this was to watch my dad slowly deteriorating. But at the same time I am so thankful that I had the last two weeks to spend with him. I had several talks with him that were so emotional. I got to say everything I wanted to say to him. My sister checked on him today at around 1:15pm, and when I checked on him at 1:30pm he had passed away. I remember the look on my mom’s face last July when the surgeon told her they had found cancer in his gall bladder and lymph nodes, and now I had to go upstairs and tell her that dad passed away. It is a look of devastation. My dad passed away peacefully and was strong in his faith. He often told us that he was not afraid to die, it was just the process of getting there. I want to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and card purchases in support of my dad and the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. You all certainly made some days bearable. I will miss my dad very much.
