Caught this back in Summer – February. Bonbeach is one of the nicest beaches on Port Phillip Bay, although I am a little biased. Being particular fair skinned, this is definately the best time to go for a swim.

I’m so insignificant…I am because there’s the Sun…only then….I can be alive…So it’s the blessings of the Sun that we thrive on… Inspired by the ancient ways of Sun worship in the Hindu faith, religion, mythology and many religions and faiths worldwide.. This painting depicts the five elements, Earth / Water / Air / Sky and / Fire Oil-on-canvas / 36 X 24 inches ...this is what I personaly believe in.. is that there is just ONE God. How come? / This planet earth and the Solar (the sun)syetem sprang from the womb of the sun. (the big bang theory says so as well) it’s probably millions of years after the big bang, life began to spring up on our planet, we human beings were probably the last one to arrive lol:) It is us early human beings that had began to understand that we owe our life to the sun. The sun was the only God until great men and women who preached love, peace harmony amongst us came along and we began to worship them as Gods…it is our own interpretation or misinterpretation of their teachings that we should divide ourselves into religious groups and anyone who’s from another faith should be hated…(so sad) we defeat the very basics of their teachings that the holy men, messengers of God, the great teachers and givers of good to us, in Hinduism we call them Devtas which means ‘The Givers’…some call them prophets…some call them Gods as per their own reasons…For me personally The Sun is the God…If there’s the Sun, Only Then We are… This inspired poem is by a dear and a departed poet HAFIZ … I want both of us / To start talking about this Great Love As if You, I and the Sun were all married / And living in a tiny room. / Helping each other to cook, / Do the wash, / Weave and sew / Care for our beautiful / Animals. We all leave each morning / To labor on the earth’s field. / No one does not lift a great pack. I want both of us to start singing like two / Traveling minstrels / About this Extraordinary Existence / We Share, As If, You, I, and God were all married And living in / A Tiny / Room ...and this poem is by RosaCobos / Water melted from iced melted… / The lake of the new dreams.. / where the reflections of the love they share… / will get into the ear.. / travelling along the sun beams…. / down… there.. / into the profoundity. / Rosa (Beautiful picture… and wonderful poem….just tell your friend…) Featured Work… / Honored, Thank you Masterpieces: Literary Workshop Group

Schlegeis reservoir, or artificial lake, lies in south west Austria. The mountains in the skyline are actually in Italy. On that day we hiked some 15 kilometers to the Italian border, quenched our thirst on some Italian beer and walked back.

. / Featured in PhotoWriting November 1, 2008 / Featured in The Patchwork October 6, 2008. When we arrive at our cabin up in the mountains, the first thing I always do is open all the curtains on that wall of glass so I can see our magnificent view. Our first snowfall last year included the sight of this lonely leaf, and simply captivated me. I would like to dedicate this to my dear friend Colin, Arrowman, who made a special request that I upload this one!!! Thank you, Colin!!!

This is a pastel painting of a young Native American girl that I saw at a pow wow in SW Oregon. I thought she was beautiful. Her rosy cheeks were the color of her red velvet dress. Her Grandmother gave me permission to paint her. I hope you enjoy it!

FIRST TIME PUBLISHED / When I looked outside my restaurant in Broome I saw two cowboyheads sitting on the tables outside and I had a strong urge to make some photo’s. I spook to the two men they where from Fitzroy Crossing. They where watching a crowd of Indeginous Aboriginal men and women ‘hanging’ outside in the Plaza. They where waiting for the local liquorshop to open, In Fitzroy is now a ‘ban’ on alcohol, they told me, so Fitzroy Crossing is now a ‘dry’ Community Miss. / Broome, Western Australia. / Today I received an email stating; CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR IMAGE ‘TYPAN’ is one of 55 images from the PEOPLE & PLANET International Photo Competition. to be published in the 2009 People&Planet; Social Justice & Enviroment Diary, which will be published this month in Australia (2009). / We thought that your image was incredible, and it won from a pool of OVER 1000 images from 316 photographers from around the World! / All funds raised by the People&Planet diary go to Australia’s small non profit organisations which are working to promote social-justice and environmental substainability around the world. /

/ “Nothing Gold can Stay” is part of the Landscape and Skyscape Series...see other Skyscapes and Landscapes, from the Series below... Watercolour on Arches Not 300lb Paper… Nature’s first green is gold, / Her hardest hue to hold. / Her early leaf’s a flower; / But only so an hour. / Then leaf subsides to leaf. / So Eden sank to grief, / So dawn goes down to day. / Nothing gold can stay....Robert Frost Nothing Gold can Stay Music… “Nothing Gold Can Stay” is one of Robert Frost’s most famous poems. Written in 1923, this poem was published in The Yale Review in October of that year. Some say the poem helped Frost to win a Pulitzer Prize. Only eight lines long, this poem is still considered one of Frost’s best. “Nothing Gold Can Stay” is also featured in the novel The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton and its film adaptation. The American rock band New Found Glory also used the title for their album of the same name...Wiki… Nothing Gold Can Stay” explicitly describes identical moments in three temporal cycles: the daily, the yearly, and the mythic. In each case the poem depicts the moment when the promise of perfection declines into something lesser. Gold unabashedly becomes a symbol–a very traditional one–for the highest value and most radiant beauty. Spring, dawn, and Eden are each a sort of Golden Age, an impermanent paradise. / What lies ahead is never stated overtly, but it is inarguably present by implication. Day is inevitably followed by night. Summer is succeeded by fall and winter. The green leaf eventually turns brown and decays. The loss of Eden gave Adam and Eve mortality. Human youth, by implication, is followed by maturity, old age, and ultimately death. The golden moment, therefore, is all the more precious because it is transitory. By focusing on a single moment, Frost evokes an entire day, year, lifetime, and human history...Dana Gioia. / / / / /

A hundred days have made me older / Since the last time that I saw your pretty face / A thousand lies have made me colder / And I don’t think I can look at this the same / But all the miles that separate / Disappear now when I’m dreaming of your face I’m here without you baby / But you’re still on my lonely mind / I think about you baby / And I dream about you all the time / I’m here without you baby / But you’re still with me in my dreams / And tonight it’s only you and me The miles just keep rollin’ / As the people leave their way to say hello / I’ve heard this life is overrated / But I hope that it gets better as we go I’m here without you baby / But you’re still on my lonely mind / I think about you baby / And I dream about you all the time / I’m here without you baby / But you’re still with me in my dreams / And tonight babe it’s only you and me Everything I know, and anywhere I go / It gets hard but it wont take away my love / And when the last one falls / When it’s all said and done / It gets hard but it wont take away my love I’m here without you baby / But you’re still on my lonely mind / I think about you baby / And I dream about you all the time / I’m here without you baby / But you’re still with me in my dreams / And tonight babe it’s only you and me Inspired by My Friends 3 Doors Down / Brad, Todd, Matt, Chris & Greg
