One of my favourite things to keep out of and at the moment I’m not doing it very well at the moment. Instead I’m prowling around the ‘net wondering if “something art deco” is enough of an instruction to give to my cover designer for the next MMP short story release… / / art deco ... / art deco advertising ... / art deco perfume ad .... Oh! Wonder if there’s anything on that old perfume bottle I have still in it’s original packaging… It’s from 1935, a novelty perfume by Saville, and the above example sold at auction in 2003 for $264 (USD?). Mine’s a slightly different version – no egg – and I just like it because it’s cool. And because I like to include scent in all my stories, whether it’s something natural or designed to give pleasure … like a little bottle of Mischief
