Water / dances between / flexing fragile fingers, / flickering reflections that (...)
Well, here’s my first submission to RedBubble. This was originally written in September of 2006; it’s hard to believe that it was a year ago, but there it is. Twelve months on and it has seen little revision, although it could probably do with some tweaking. I’m no serious writer by any means, but I’ll be sharing more as I go. Thankyou, and enjoy.
something in a face / transports a frangrant memory / from here to some other space
There is a little of us in every person we meet if you can see the reflection
Silver and hard, / Fragile it can break like our egos,
The focus of our self assessment of our beauty I find interesting.
Voices are only words, and words are only voices. Why don’t we speak out when we need help?
just a thought :)
Spirit is gone your skin is pale,
This is one part of three dark poems I wrote years ago. It’s not based on anyone I knew, it just came out of my imagination. I made this and the other poems into a short story.
“how can we put it into words? how can we sing it? how can we walk it out of us? / how can we get to the other side? etc etc etc… and th…
Reflective thinking & sharing spiritual possibilities & thoughts
Eyes filled with sorrow & sometimes despair / Eyes filled with laughter, wanting to care.
Ironic, we share a name and a life. But one difference between us sets us millions of realities apart:...
“Sarah” / For A Moment: The Schizophrenic “For A Moment” series is a series of short (two-six-paragraph) writings collected from my scraps and drafts. I have had many attempts to create different characters, becoming someone else “for a moment”... thus, I suppose, this series is born. Written Nov 2007

The funny thing was, she couldn’t hear herself scream.
Written a few years ago & lifted from the vault. Inspired by that horrible feeling you get after a bad dream. The first few moments of your day a muddle as you figure out what is real, or that unsettling feeling that / follows you for a while….anyways, a bit of mild gothic horror…
Her hips are too wide, her hair color faded.
false as water / smooth as glass / faux feeling behind / a false façade
Written 28 April 2009. Thank you to my friend and fellow Bubbler, Jane, who provided some of the inspiration for this poem. Inspired by the song “Poker Face”, by La GaGa.
Everything I ever was, you took, twisted, renamed and sold on for profit. Now you’re sitting, lonely, destined to repeat the same mis…
I’m nothing but The Shadow; / The Substance now is gone.
Autobiographical poem.
Directly in front of, my image only, on full display. / Writing paragraphs, mine, much to my dismay.

The feelings are a subtile world, creating images.. / I know that she may speak some of them that any bride could have, even behind of her conscious soul. The mannequin… her situation on this shop window…the way i needed to capt the reflection, spoke inside of myself and I could not know what it was, until it came….like this.
she floats and smiles listlessly / with a quizzical stare
the other side of the mirror
She is strong now as she looks upon it, she even smiles / Realizing, she is not the reflection of life, but the self within it
A woman who can piece her life together through faith in herself
