  • B & W 35mm film digitalized / ~ / More of my Works /

  • Those of you who care, may have noticed that I have barely been uploading anything recently, this is due to a total lack of inspiration from the world of digital photography. Luckily there is a man in the office, who goes by the name of James who is equally old school, cynical and at least as much of a luddite, if not more so. So he lent me his developing equipment, chemicals and all, and told me to ‘do it properly’. So I did. Stuck some B&W Kodak 400 Tri-X in my medium format Holga and some of the same in my 35mm Hanimex and went and shot and hand developed a few rolls. Started scanning them in this evening and thought I’d post the first one up. / Suddenly I’m excited by the medium again, and I’m having fun again. Here’s a shot I took of my lady against a mirror in her favourite spotted dress, she is quite a big fan of spots you see. James, good work fella, I owe you a Mountain Goat.

  • A photograph of Ginger, the artist’s cat on top of a car.

  • This is one of my first photos with my new D200 Nikon and 50mm lense :)

  • This is the man behind the camera. You can’t have pretty subjects all the time, life is not perfect.

  • everyone heard before “Eyes are the mirror of soul”. I want to celebrate these words meaning a lot to me,,, / Coloured pencils on paper

  • Me taking a photo of me and my Canon 300D in my Subaru wagon’s mirror at Apollo Bay earlier this year. Hoping to get a Canon 40D in the next couple of months after Kevin gives me my tax back! As you can see I was/am a big fan of Lance Armstrong and watched all of his 7 tour wins unfold late at night. My tip for this year’s tour is Cadel, who else? Colour was desaturated in Lightroom and then desaturated the remaining yellow parts in Photoshop, enjoy!

  • Looking to the future, reflecting on the past. Words embroidered on the squares are my “foundations”, words embroidered on the shibori are my future desires, The use of shisha mirrors and holes in this word represent things that I don’t know that I know or don’t know. Silk shirt pieces from my past and thread mats are my hair.

  • Jodie Lee Behrendorff / Brisbane, Nov 2008 Thank you for watching.

  • Elena, studio fashion / portrait, 2008.

  • A concept I dreamed up about never look back, always move forward. Look back and you may see nothing but bad things from the past. Closeup Detail— / WITH TEXT - Never Look Back

  • Self Portrait

  • This is my first attempt at producing a portrait with a slightly contemporary look. Emma is animated and is seeing herself as real in her reflection.

  • The face is the mirror of the mind, and eyes without speaking confess the secrets of the heart. -Saint Jerome (374 AD – 419 AD) / Graphite pencils on A4 paper. / Ref

  • After leaving a silly Comment on X-Pose’s Mirror Self Portrait, I decided to do one of my own, the thing I was after was not getting the camera in the pic, I almost succeeded, there is a tiny bit of it there, I’ll work on that in future pics :-) here’s the result Brushes by FallnStock, Love ‘N’ Laughter Kriss

  • Self Portrait /

  • This is the first of a series I’m working on. Thanks to Lucky & Michael for their patience. All in camera except for colour adjustments and cropping. / / / Inside me series

  • Whenever I do a Self Portrait, I usually try to say something about myself. I try to reveal a little of who I am…... Not this time…... this one’s just about my Michael Jackson “Bad” sunnies…. from a time when I thought his look was pretty cool; / I actually owned a black leather jacket; / there was only one version of “Smooth Criminal” & it was awesome; / & my very favourite song was Dirty Diana…... hmmm….. seems I shared something about myself after all….. [canon 1000D] Featured – The Woman Photographer – July 2009

  • A portrait of my gorgeous daughter, taken of her reflection in a change room mirror at a small boutique in Chapel St, Melbourne. We were out on a shopping spree. / Camera – Nikon D90

  • I sure do love photography & I especially love riding around & looking for great objects for my lens to focus on so that I may share with others. It is a spirit that burns deep inside me & frankly, it’s an obsession! Just ask my family & close friends! Well, anyway this was a photo which I took of myself because I had the opportunity as my son was driving so my hands were free & ENJOY! Smiles Leilani
